Villain: "So... Er.... How you doing?"

Hero: "I'm doing great- HANGING IN CHAINS THE SECOND NIGHT IN A ROW! LET ME GO YOU PSYCHO!!!!"

Villain: "Why calling the names, I was just trying to be nice"

Villain: "So... I'm giving you Hero back. I reflected"

Teammate: "You... What?"

Villain: "I reflected. You know: the whole kidnapping thing seems to be... slightly wrong now as I think about it"

Hero: "when exACTLY IT SEEMED TO BE RIGHT?!!!"

Hero: "WAIT! YOU NEVER REALLY WERE UNDER A MIND CONTROLLING CHARM?!"

Villain "Nooope. I just spontanically wanted to be a good guy, but you obviously wouldn't believe me. So I played to make you trust me"

Hero: "PLAYING WITH US ISN'T MAKING YOU THE GOOD GUY"

Villain: "Oh, but yelling like a maniac makes you?"

Villain: "Wow. Just Wow. After all your dramatic monologue I really want to hug you bro"

Hero: "Like... Hug me with a knife?"

Villain: "Is that how you do it in your homeland...? I mean- I can do that. Is that a culture thing?"

Villain: "For the last time. I did NOT poison your tea. See?" drinks from Hero's cup.

Hero: "....I'm not drinking from the same cup you drank"

Villain: "Take mine then, I didn't drink from it yet"

Hero: "...."

Villain: "......"

Hero: "..........."

Villain: "Oh for f#ck sake I didn't poison this one either!"

“Something something”

The whumpee was being forced to go against their only friends- they could see everything going on, they just couldn’t do anything about it. Now this malware was very much sentient, and adored taunting them whenever the whumpee tried to take back control.

The whumpee had never really understood the concept of being sick, but now they could compare what was going on with human illnesses. This malware made them feel horrendous, they could barely move and their voice could barely be heard. Their friends tried to help, but none of them knew how to take care of them.

imagine a villain with memory modification powers.

maybe Hero has some amnesia issues- but Villain has so kindly taken them in until they get their memory back. Villain is so patient, even when any mention of Hero’s old life leaves them with debilitating headaches. Villain listens, so patient and understanding, when Hero shares nightmares of Sidekick overpowering them and wrenching their mind apart. of Sidekick humiliating them and laughing at their pain. Villain is always willing to remind Hero of the horrors they fled, the ones Hero doesn’t remember.

and if sometimes Sidekick has Villain’s face in those nightmares- if, anytime Hero wanders away from Villain, it leaves a gap in their memory- well, Hero has learned not to think about it. It makes their head hurt.

as if someone has reached inside their skull and yanked.

But Villain is always there- so patient, so gentle, so understanding- to take their pain away…

Whumpee with a gun pointed at Whumper. Whumper seems completely unfazed “Put the gun down now, and I will consider letting this slide without punishment.”

Whumpee’s hands start to shake. They could be free if they just pull the trigger. This could all be over-

Whumper begins walking towards Whumpee. “Don’t make me repeat myself.” Whumper stops directly in front of whumpee, gun pointed right at their chest. “I said: Put. The gun. Down.”

Whumpee’s hands are shaking even more. They stagger backwards as Whumper stands in front of the barrel of the gun, expression more so of annoyance than anything else.

“G-get away from me!” Whumpee says. “I’ll do it! I’ll pull the trigger- I’ll kill you-“

Whumper just laughs.

They reach out, but instead of taking the gun out of Whumpee’s hands, they hold Whumpee’s arms steady, gun pointed at Whumper’s heart.

“No. You won’t.”

Whumper’s voice almost echos through Whumpee’s ears with a calmness that makes the hair on the back of Whumpee’s neck stand up.

“You don’t have it in you.”

Whumpee: I wasn't injured. I was lightly stabbed.

Caretaker: I'm sorry, you were stabbed?!

Whumpee: Lightly stabbed.

“Why don’t you run?”

Whumpee jumped at Whumper’s voice right against their ear.

“N-n’h….g-good pets don…dont…hngg….pl-pl’se

“Say it, darling.”

“G-good pets don-…don’t- p-“

Whumper’s hand tightened against Whumpee’s shoulder, digging their nails in as they spoke, making the other whimper, “I’m running out of patience, love,” Whumper hummed.

“Mhngg- G-good pets don-don’t try t-to leave wih-without permmm…permission fr’m their owners.”

Whumper smiled, their iron grip lifting from Whumpee’s shoulder before patting- more like slapping- their face with a false smile, “Good good, but next time I expect immediate obedience and correct sentences.”
