bad stuff

plot wise, it was a fucking mess.  like

why did holdo not feel the need to like...tell anyone her plan? like poe had to stage a mutiny 

also wtf poe dameron’s characterization 

but like......”hey we have a plan” would be better than nothing

i think rian wanted conflict on the rebel ships but if you had to butcher the characterization of characters to do so maybe dont write films lol

i really didnt care that kyle ron had potential to be good

the scene with leia where i legitimately was about two seconds from crying b/c i thought “god they’re going to have to kill off her character but i wish it wasnt so soon” to “this is the worst deus ex machina ive ever fucking seen”

im glad we learned that leia is a literal fucking goddess apparently who cant die but..........it was just silly

when kyle took off his shirt there were a few giggles in the theater and the girl behind me went “eugh.....yeesh.” which pretty much summed it up

the whole plot with the codebreaker and maz tells them that this dude with the flower pin is the ONLY person she knows good enough to do it

how the fuck did that guy know about the cloaked ships when poe (the only one in contact w/ rose and finn) didnt know because he was unconscious

in the scene where finn fought phasma it was super cool but when he rose up on the metal platform i thought for a moment he was using the force to levitate it and i was completely ready to forgive rian johnson for so many things because force sensitive finn canonized like that would have been incredible i almost lost my fucking mind how fucking cool would that have been

i want to hope that the “rey comes from nobody” thing is true 

luke’s death was...nice. like im glad he didnt die from kyle or the shots but just kind of....let go. it was nice.
