Glanced through my list of books as I read queer romantasy almost exclusively - maybe try the World of Reforged series? I personally bounced off of Reforged, but I really like Reborn and Reclaimed, and because they're a series of connected standalones you can jump around based on which concept/archetypes you're most drawn to.

They're definitely romance heavy, which isn't everyone's vibe for epic fantasy, but they really do developed worldbuilding and magic systems all building to some really cool revelations about their world's cosmology and politics. All three are M/M romance and one of Reclaimed's protagonists is trans, plus several other queer side characters throughout.
