I created Coding Haven, a discord server where we can share web development resources and help each other as a community.

This server is open to theme makers of all levels who want to share their work as well as ask for and provide help.

You only need to do two things to join:

1. have at least one code released 2. reblog this post and send a message here asking for the discord link Rules.

The server will have more in-depth information however I felt it was important to note these rules before joining.

no harassment/bullying of any kind

no stealing/copying codes or designs

keep all messages in appropriate channels (the welcome channel will explain each channels purpose) 

After Joining

Once you have joined the server, change your nickname to the url where you post your codes. The good thing about discord is that you can have a different nickname for each server, so if you’re in other servers, don’t worry! It won’t change your nickname for those ones.

I’ll ask for your name (or whatever you want to go by) and blog url so I can add you to the directory channel which hosts all of our members blogs for easy access.

Because the theme-making community deserves to come together and build a strong network of cooperation and mutual help, and to fight the lack of active networks that focus on the amazingly talented designers across Tumblr, @baechys  , @themehive , and @grangersdesigns took things into their own hands and created CodingCabin, a Discord server made by theme-makers, for theme-makers.

The server is open for each and every theme-maker, established or just starting out.

What you need to do to join?

Have, at least, one code released.

Reblog this post and send us a message asking for the link to join the server!

So many things! Share resources, tips & tricks, help people and get help in return, make new friends, learn new ways of designing things for your upcoming themes, and so much more!

Undocumented Documentation

On the linked page you will find a list of tumblr blocks and variables that are undocumented. Most were found in the new Optica default theme. You can find the official tumblr documentation here.

It is by no means comprehensive and is only from my personal experimentation. I take no responsibility for anything.

Most excitingly, it contains the needed blocks and variables for dashboard-style captions.
