Kael's eyes widen as the girl sets herself on fire. He hesitates for a moment, taken aback by this unexpected turn of events.

"Is she... insane?!"

He watches as she continues to fly, leaving a trail of fire behind her. He can feel the heat radiating from her flames, but he can't just let her get away.

His eyes began to glow and green flames covered him all over. With a confident step he approached, not suffering any burns from her.

Fei-xiao's smirk turned into a full-on smile at his cocky response. She was beginning to like this traveler's spirit.

"Cocky, aren't you?" she said, amusement lacing her voice. "I like that. But just because you're a quick learner doesn't mean I'm going to take it easy on you."

She stood up from her seat, gesturing for him to follow.

"Come on. Let's find a more suitable place for your first lesson."

Fei-xiao couldn't help but be impressed by his enthusiasm and determination. It reminded her of younger generals just beginning their journeys.

Her smirk grew wider as he asked about her techniques.

"My techniques involve harnessing the power of light to augment my martial arts. It's not an easy skill to master."

She paused, considering for a moment.

"But if you're a quick learner, I don't see why I can't teach you some basics."
