“You!” She exclaims, the demeanor of this particular archangel recognizable to her regardless of vessel he inhabited or the form he took. “You helped seal me away. What do you want from me?”

                      an  exaggerated  eye roll  came  from  the  oldest  archangel .  “  and  her  i  mistaken  that  perhaps  you  forgotten  about  the  past . “  michael  replied ,  keeping  his  distance  from  his  aunt .  “  where’s  father  ?  “

𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍’𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑, but Lucifer did. Power spiking against the sigiled bindings, eyes glowing– But Michael’s words took him aback, surprised him. Lucifer scoffed. 

❝Talk? After all this time, you just want to talk?❞ It made no sense to him, and he shook his head. ❝What if I don’t want to hear anything you think you have to say?❞ What could Michael tell him that would ease his anger, his rage? His… intense emotions at everything that had transpired? 

❝You’ve wanted to fight for the longest time, no matter what I said. Why should I believe you now, that all you’re looking for is a conversation?❞

                  michael  had  changed  a  bit .  being  in  hell  brought  out  a  lot  of  realizations  and  that  perhaps  he  could  set  aside  destiny  for  the  sake  of  help .  and  just  maybe  lucifer  would  hear  him  out  and  put  aside  his  own  bitterness and  hurt .  

           a  sigh  came  from  the  older  archangel .  “  what  if --  i  admit  that  you’ve  been  a  bit  right  all  along ?  “  it  pained  michael  to  admit  that .  to  even  say  it  out loud  and  he  knew  lucifer  would  probably  tell  him  that  he  told  him  so .   “  because  given  your  current  situation ,  i  could  have  ended  up  just  a moment  ago  but  i  didn’t .  “  the  archangel  raised  an  eyebrow .  “  let’s  just  talk . . that’s  all .  “

❝I think you have me confused with Gabriel.❞ Raphael barely looked up from her focused gaze on the shelf ahead. ❝I don’t do tricks.❞

                            raphael  aside  from  michael were  the  only  ones  who  didn’t  do  tricks  and  camael  couldn’t  help  but  chuckle .  “  forgive  me ,  sister .  i  guess  i  shouldn’t  have  assumed  so  quickly .  “

It seemed his words  had been taken the wrong way. A shame, really. If only things were as she had interpreted them. “Unfortunately, what I mean is… people make bold statements, bold promises. They talk big, but rarely follow through. Bold, like the lion. Meek, like the lamb. It’s always been that way, though, hasn’t it? People, as a whole, have always been a little less than they say. I include myself in that.”

                    now  she  felt  embarrassed  given  he  had  meant  it  in a  completely  different  way .  “ oh  right .  “  camael  trailed  off  softly ,  glancing  downward .  she  knew  some  that  were  that  way  .  some  of  her  own  siblings  were  included  .    “  i  think  that’s  one  of  everyone’s  biggest  flaws .  “  she  said ,  leaning  in  a  bit .  “  all  bark  and  no  bite  is  what  some  say .   “  camael  smirked .  “  don’t  beat  yourself  up  for  being  that  way .  it’s  normal  i  believe  but --  be  careful .  with  it .  some  might  expect  you  to  back  up  those  promises  and  all .  “

“if that’s the case, i’m glad i’m not you.” although, it’d be fun, it’s more fulfilling to work under Lord Satan’s wings. “anything i can do to help relieve you of some of that burden? — anyone needs a painful death? hmm?” she’s almost purring, red lips tilt upwards on the sides at the thought of all the possibilities. 

               the  archangel  sat  back ,  tilting  her  head  at  the  other .  “  well  aren’t  you  LUCKY  then .  “  she  replied .  there  was a  hint  of  sarcasm  in  her  voice  .   “  not  entirely  .  though --  your  offer  is  tempting  .  “

It takes more control than he ever had to pull his teeth away from her neck. Blood dripping down onto his chin and shirt. Eyes wide and a deep red. The veins spreading away from them.  “That was….whoa.” Kol’s hand doesn’t move from her hair, keeping their bodies pressed together. “You weren’t kidding about the taste.”

                  the  feeling  was  almost  orgasmic  and  she  couldn’t  help  but  want  him  to  keep  going .  eyes  slowly  opened  though  when  he  gained  control  and  pulled  away ,  leaving  a  large  bite  on  her  neck  which  would  slowly  heal  on  it’s  own .   

               “  intoxicating  huh ?  “  she  smirked ,  biting  her  lips  and  lightly  touching  her  neck .  “  i’ve  got  quite  the  head rush  myself .  “

“so, this is an exception then.” although it isn’t structured as a question there is still a silent question mark at the end of the sentence. she is by no means an adept in angel workings and frankly, they make her nervous as if she doesn’t have over a decade worth of experience. in retrospect, her ten+ years of practice does not mean anything compared to an archangel’s existence. “thank you, i guess.” 

                              “  you  could  say  that . “  michael  replied ,  reaching  for  a  bottle  of  whiskey  and  pouring  himself  a  drink .  given  the  bartender  was  behind  the  bar -- dead  with  his  eyes  burned  out  of  his  skull .    “  you’re  welcome --  i  guess .  “  he  hummed ,  taking  a  drink  from  his  glass before  shifting  his  attention  towards  the  other .  “  what  can  i  do  for  you  seeing  how  you  manage  to  survive  the -- well ,  tragic  thing  that’s  happened  it . “
