Thank you for all your love on The Cookie Project! I didn't expect to get 1500 browser plays/downloads in the first week. I hope you all enjoyed your time with Ceph and Four! I've just published the (lengthy) postmortem for the game over on Itch. The soundtrack is also up now on youtube.

The Dawning may be over but it's still on in my heart...

Spend a few days with my guardian Ceph, helping him figure out the cookie recipes with Eva's 1st gen oven. Will you befriend him? Spend every moment flirting?? Will you EAT THE FORBIDDEN DOUGH?

Happy new year y'all! I spent new year's eve finishing the demo for my dawning dating/friendship sim, and it's out on itch.io if you wanna give it a spin! The demo contains the first 20% ish of the game, and I plan to release the full game on Jan 3rd. A current playthrough of the demo takes about 5-10 minutes but there's a bunch of dialogue options to choose from.

Made some big progress on my dawning dating/friendship sim by the way! If you're still on the hellsite known as twitter, I'm posting regular updates on my development process in this thread. The aim is to be done and submitted to wintervnjam ideally by Dec 31st 11:59PM but it depends how the next few days go.

Speaking of the dawning, this month I'm making good on my previous goal to make a dating sim for Ceph, via a dawning themed game for wintervnjam2023 (an indie vn game jam). basically you're the owner of a last city bakery and you help ceph figure out eva's 1st generation dawning oven over the course of a week. lots of opportunities for flirting (or befriending, if you prefer). I'll be making it as approachable as possible for non-D2 players also!

(ignore the 3 minutes-ness of this sketch) I've got to say it's funny logging into d2 for the first time in a few weeks and getting the cutscene where your guardian solves the "mystery" when you haven't finished all the imbaru engine puzzles yourself. like damn, he just did it without me? he doesn't even need me anymore lol
