This would be my dream come true, to be on both ends of that fan-author/creator relationship ^_^

So, FYI you guys, sometimes if you go to your favorite writers and flail at them a lot about how much you love their fics with lots of specific examples, they will let you read thousands of words of their unpublished WIPs and you can flail even more. Also sometimes after that you get to be friends, too, and help them come up with ideas. And vice versa! This is pretty much the best thing in the world and it is called fandom.

Just wanted to share this watercolor illustration that will be used as a book cover for the paperback version of 「江の島ねこもり食堂」(Enoshima Nekomori Syokudo). This is a novel published in Japan.

I honestly have no idea what this is in regards to, anon. But if it’s about my dad’s dream to be a rockstar, far be if from me to discourage someone’s passion that brings a spark of joy to their life after working 60+ hrs a week.

If you have the ambition and the heart and soul to chase, invest, and work towards it, why give up on a dream?
