Hello! Just a quick reminder that I’ve moved accounts. Art and words will be over on @spell-fox.
This is the first part of a seven part series.

Kettu dropped the shirt she was folding on the floor. “You’re what” Her voice rattled against the walls and came back to her three times over. Aurin said nothing. From the window the princelings could be heard playing at maiming each other. There were the soft sputtering sounds of the castle wells, the rustling of rats in the walls, the up-down call of one of the mountain hawks, but no sound from Aurin. She bit her lip and stared fixedly on the clothes she was folding. “This is more important than laundry, what? What? What!” Kettu took the waistcoat that apparently fascinated the other woman. “Say it again, I can’t have heard you right.” Aurin hummed and said, “you’ve made a mess. You can’t go home until this is done.” “I don’t want to go home, I want to you say what you just said, and then say that it’s some weird joke!” Finally she met Kettu’s gaze. Those round leaf-green eyes, framed in dark eyelashes. Aurin was a serious-faced woman, she’d been serious-faced from the day she was born. Though she tried to assuage this with a frequent smile, she had the aura of a person who neither understood jokes nor enjoyed them. This wasn’t true, as Kettu had learnt in their years of service together, but it made the moments when she lit up all the more beautiful. “I’m getting married.” Aurin said. The words lingered in the air. “To a man from Irida.”

Hello! I am back and I've moved art blogs! I'm still setting it up, but I'll be operating from @spellfoxdraws from now on. I hope you'll follow me there!

Happy cuddles with my OCs Kettu and Aurin for Valentine’s. Every year I normally forget, but not this year!

Lut Truth, watercolour headshot from April for no particular reason.
Luteni Howel will insist that he is a famous storyteller and that everyone calls him Lut. Neither of these things are true. He is desperate to find the next saga-in-situ and write it himself, all good storytellers have at least one of their own sagas. He will do anything- except work hard or leave his comfort zone.
This is book four Lut who has had a Meaningful Name Change. He has attracted fame, of a sort.
#my OCs are my children#this one is a baby#he has a lot of learning to do#but he'll get there#Luteni

Space kitty 🌟
Not sure if I’ve uploaded this before? But I’m really proud of it so here it is again! Space kitty is played by Morticia Mogford, my friend’s cat, who is polydactyl. Watercolour, ink and a bit of gouache.
I have prints of this one, which would be part of my mythical planned print giveaway. (Which at some point I will hold when I have enough free stuff to throw at strangers.)

taking a social media break. I'm fine, just a bit overwhelmed and underwhelmed. A misbalance of whelms.
I made a queue before I decided to go for a break and this will play through
see you soon ~!

On the day of his execution, the faceless gods gave Fate a task. It would take a great many years, and cover innumerable hardships. Fate was to wander all eight lands to locate sages for the thirteen magic types, to bring them together, and to wrangle order out of the chaos that reigned this world. He could never know which of his excellent qualities had impressed the gods the most; perhaps his unending charm, his superior intellect, his considerable achievements in the face of enmity, his skills at magic, his strong community spirit, his insatiable modesty, or his unshakeable good luck. Fate was a person for whom things just worked. When he told a person to do something, they did it, never really knowing why but suspecting it was an idea entirely of their own devising.
