How am I somehow finding out just now from Isa that Xion has been missing for several days?

Whenever I say I don’t wanna do something, or that I can’t, Terra will just keep saying “she will never be ballin’”. And it just makes me spiteful enough to do it just to silence him but then he’s always just so smug.

-- She’s quiet. A vacation.. Typically a vacation is not even on the table. Why would she, there’s too much to be done. But... Maybe.. Wait--

“I don’t babysit! Everyone is of equal standing, I’m not their mother!” She’s been told she acts like it multiple times but her denial stands firm ever the same. They’re all comrades and have each other’s backs. She may have theirs more than often but that’s no reason to discredit them.

“And what do you gain from the niceties here? Are you going to try and tag along if I go or something? What’s your angle for caring about me?” And before she can even try to come up with a rebuttal, “And don’t try to keep pulling the ‘I’m trying to help you understand what you’re blind to’ card.” And she continues to drone on, on a different thought. “And what if where I’m at people need my help? I just turn my eyes from them because I’m on vacation? My job is to save people, I’m on a constant watch for that, y’know.”

Calling them my boys makes me feel like I’m their mother...

Has working out become my personality? No. But I definitely work out more often than I used to and I find that to be a little crazy considering I used to just use it as a means of stress relief, now I genuinely enjoy it!

Especially when I can bring Ven with me since he’s been influenced by everyone around him going to the gym now haha. He used to just watch movies with me on the couch when Terra went to the gym and he wanted to hang out. Now I force Terra to watch more movies and bring Ven with us so I can help him not fall for Terra’s stupid pranks that could injure him!!

Xion’s training is going steady. There’s a potential she has that she isn’t able to reach and I’m sure it’s because of her doubts. It might be similar to Rena’s situation. But she’s making less of the same mistakes.

Her lips part to say something, but she slowly processed what Larxene said and. She... Has a point. Aqua groans in defeat, eyes askance to think about it. If all she ever does is give... When is it her turn to receive? The company she keeps would give whenever she gave the word, she’s sure of it but she’s not the type of person to ask others to give. So in theory: she will never have a turn to receive. Pooling herself square into the other���s point.

“... Okay, then what do I do? All I’ve built myself to be is a protector, a guardian. I don’t know the first thing about being ‘selfish’, personally at least. Very selfish of some people I know who wanted everything for themselves.” A slight diss, but she feels in he right to say so. “What do you propose, since you seem to see through me so clearly.”

Thought I was over it. Turns out I was! But then that stopped happening.

Xion is insistent I keep training her but the more she insists the more I worry she’s tying her worth to her strength. I worry about that girl too much...

Suddenly the air began to feel a lot warmer. If it wasn’t the boiling rage bubbling in Elrena’s body, it was possibly the blood rushing to her face and making her cheeks an unusually endearing shade of dark pink. It wasn’t often Elrena ever regretted attacking someone directly, and rarer was her apologizing for it. And the one time she does, Aqua is completely unbothered and doesn’t even hold her against it. By doing so, Elrena’s only show of humility was proven useless. 

Instead of celebrating this achievement alongside Aqua, Elrena crossed her arms, turned her face to the side, eyes shut and lips pouting outwards.

“Dunno what I was worrying about! I was holding back anyway, so there.” Alright enough of the act. Elrena sighed and would later try to rationalize her feelings. Instead she wanted to elaborate on something Aqua said, on how she could do it again. Though she didn’t change her stance, she spoke much more neutral and calm than previously, “Anyways… You know Leon? He said something about pulling off some super attack that could annihilate everyone in the room. That’s what went through my head when I used that. That give any ideas?”

Huh? Was she.. Blushing? Pfft. There’s a soft huff from her nose as she contains herself from the temptation to tease. Wouldn’t be constructive towards their progress, so rather she just use the time she has with her cooling down to focus. Her pouting didn’t help her case either, only made it more tempting but, she’s still technically in teacher mode, and a teacher does not mock (often). She hoped that singing her praise would elicit a different reaction but this IS Elrena, of course...

Aqua was straining a bit, still feeling shivers coursing through her body but nevertheless pushed herself up to stand, her Keyblade that was at some point detached from her hands now finally shining away in light. She offered a hand to Elrena to help her stand, even if she herself should be the one to be offered a hand, but her politeness and hospitality put those kind of hopeless ambitions to rest. 

“Leon taught you that kind of mentality, huh? A last ditch effort tactic.” It makes sense. Maybe it was more reactionary of an attack than something completely on purpose. “You’ve been keeping your pace and improving in speed each time we spar, pushing yourself more and more, but not landing a direct hit on me must have pissed you off enough to not feel like losing.” Her methods were somewhat unorthodox, but effective. Aqua being a very skilled fighter, quick on her feet to keep up with the likes of Elrena, she was always formidable, and only had one rule when it came to training: ‘If you can land a hit on me even once, I’ll consider your training successful. Anything less will only ever be improvements, but a failure’. Harsh, but effective, as seen here. She can call this training session successful and is entirely intrigued in helping her hone her craft even more. Maybe she could even learn something from Elrena!

“What if...” She’s already brainstorming. “What if we honed that? You said you were holding back, which means if you can reach that once, you can do it again, but stronger and spend all your energy from that. But what if you went backwards? And extended it’s use? Could you perhaps use that pillar attack with redirection from your knives? You have so many, so with lightning at your behest, thro....” And she’s trailing off into silence, assuming a thinking posture as she brainstorms tactics Elrena could use. In her own little world again.
