All the world faded away, time stood still as the two of them hovered on the precipice of something forbidden, something intoxicatingly dangerous.
"Whether you want to admit the truth to yourself or not, we were made for each other, little mouse. Bred for each other. In another life, another time, you and I were to rule side-by-side."
Paul hesitated, conflicted between the want to close the distance between them and the fear of the consequences giving in to his darkest impulses meant.
Feyd's smirk is cruel and inviting. He swayed forward, gaze never dropping from Paul's spice-laden blue eyes, to brush his lips against the tender skin of his neck, feeling the pulse of Paul's heartbeat quicken beneath his touch.
Closing his eyes, Paul lets himself succumb to the intoxicating scent of Feyd's presence, musky and warm, letting it fill his senses with a heady rush of want.
This split second of character development blows my mind. With just a shift of his eyes, Austin Butler relates to the audience his Feyd's resignation, his understanding that he had no recourse to the Baron's machinations. In the subsequent scenes, Feyd embraces the situation, but it gives audiences a glimpse of Feyd's inner thoughts.
