"Occult Leftism" is one of those combinations that feels like it should make sense. Marxism and the occult share a countercultural streak that occasionally makes them strange bedfellows, and both share a fascination with the nature of the material, though from opposite ends of the spectrum.

The problem with combining Marxism and Occultism, is that they are both infamously shallowly understood. Comprehensive knowledge requires time, energy, and dedication. Lots of people think they understand marx, and lots of people think they understand western esotericism.

Effective Marxist writing requires a level of logical, philosophical rigor not often found among the occult inclined. And effective occult writing requires carefully applied charisma. As a result, attempting to create Occult Marxism often just reaults in really really cringe shit.
