Seeing all that shit go down in the Splato0n side of Twitter made me realize that I have unironically seen more respect for black people(or people of a darker completion in general) from nsfw Asian artists than I have on the comp/normal side of it.

Damn what was I on a year ago, I could actually write decently

Finally posting something here. Wrote this in a frenzy thinking about my favorite married cousins and their much more physical counterparts. This is just a W.I.P and probably won't get finished but I still like it none the less. A little background on the dynamics of Miko+Taru and Cincelia+Anamosia with the story under read more:

Miko and Taru act like a lovely dovey couple who've been married far longer than they actually have been

Cincelia and Anamosia are the most physically affection and smitten couple you've seen, most of it coming from Cincelia while Anamosia has a crisis over it

Family....

A word that has now become synonymous with romance and romantic relationships in the Underworld. And of course, at the forefront of it all is Miko. You see even while living with Lady Taruha and developing a deeper, more intimate relationship, Miko was fully aware that she and Taruhá were related. Her mother being Taruha's sister, making them cousins. Growing up, before her mother’s eternal slumber, she would tell Miko stories of how her aunt went mad with grief over the loss of her first child early. A girl named Tiaru. Putting two and two together, what with the similar sounding names and the fact that everyone in Miko's family has varying shades of red hair, she knew right away that Taruhá was her dead cousin. Did that deter her from her goal of giving the both of them a happy life together? No. In fact, that news only strengthened her desire to give Taru a happier life.

How Lady Taruhá found out is a completely different story. While Miko knew right away, it took Taru quite a bit to figure it out. At first, she was horrified. The one connection she had to her old life, her old family, and she sullies it with her feelings. Yet Miko, time and time again, reassured her that it was ok. Taru way before Miko was even born. Even with the stories her mother told her of her cousin, Taru and Tiaru always felt like two different people to her. They very well could be at this point. And so, Taru doesn’t worry herself with that information, instead focusing on making Miko happy in her own way.

Another pair of cousins infamous in the Underworld, Cincelia and Anamosia, have been making waves, with Cincelia rising both in power as a new demon and financially and her abundance of physical affection towards Anamosia. Both Taru and ‘Mosia are alike in some way. Wherein Taru recently learned and moved on from finding out Miko was her relative, Anamosia grew up with Cincelia, her guilty conscience working overtime against what she wants to feel.

Okay, what the absolute fuck is this? They're going after Heartstopper now? Probably one of the most wholesome LGBTQ+ media out there? That has the "good representation" you guys claim to so desperately want?

Okay, no, I'm so fucking tired of this.

Honestly, at this point, this just feels like blunt homophobia, and that you're just looking for excuses to shit all over queer content creators and their characters. There is nothing wrong with this media. It showcases LGBTQ+ people, the experiences they go through, and mental illnesses in an "accurate" way.

...What counts as a stereotype? Because it seems everything is a fucking stereotype to you people. I've seen people say feminine gay characters are stereotypes. I've seen people say depressed, lifeless gay characters are stereotypes. I've seen people say sporty, dudebro gay characters are stereotypes. What gay characters are we "allowed" to make? Because I don't just want a gay character to be some normal, dull person with an okay relationship with their relatives and friends, no trauma, no interesting backstory, and no depth. That's boring as shit. I'm not reading that.

With all this shit people are whining about, saying that we can't draw or write something because it's "not accurate representation", or "portrayal of stereotypes", or "fetishizing LGBTQ+ people", or whatever else you people throw hands about, I think what's being done here on a wider scale is just straight-up bullying.

You're justifying your hate for queer content creators when you make it seem as if it's been done for a good reason, and it promotes your "allyship" or "wokeness". You're not being an ally. You're villainizing queer stories and people, and hurting actual LGBTQ+ members.

And no, it's not a fucking valid reason to be homophobic. I'm tired of seeing people saying shit like "[insert media that isn't considered "accurate" representation] is a valid reason to be homophobic!" It's not. You need to stop arming anti-LGBTQ+ assholes with tools like this. You're justifying homophobia. You're making the same people that have been damaging, hurting, and killing the LGBTQ+ community for decades appear like good people when they're homophobic for the "right" reason. Stop.
