sitting here feeling emotional over how angel signed the 'a' in 'anthony' on his soul contract like a star. the star he imagined that he would become because of valentino's influence ; the star he felt was clawing at his chest, waiting to escape & needing val's influence to do so ( or so he thought ). the 'a' in a name he no longer uses was a sign of hope & excitement. it was the promise for a future that now just tastes hot & bitter across his tongue.
