we all talk about Sherlock leaving the wedding early as the most devastating part of tsot BUT have we considered that John spent his entire wedding reception realizing that sherlock was in love with him in front of his wife and the guests and god and everyone.

if you write for a canon ship you're boring. that ship isn't canon why are you writing about them. if you only focus on one ship you're dull. if you multiship you're a traitor. AUs are overdone. what's the point of canon fics we already have canon. straight ships are uninteresting. gay ships are fetishizing. too many things are rated E you horny freaks. why read anything without smut in it. you've undertagged you're a bad person. you've overtagged and spoiled the story. where is the verbal, step by step consent? checking in during each moment of intimacy is tedious. there's too much romance in fic. who would read a fic that doesn't involve shipping. my opinions about fanworks are correct. they're moral. they have nothing to do with personal taste and everything to do with righteousness.
