♕ - Well that’s one way to go and draw an embarrassed burn upon his ears. Was it a good thing she was laughing? Part of him couldn’t help but feel it was all in good mirth. That on the other hand wouldn’t stop those bright blue eyes being centered upon her in a short lived glare, short as it was. He could see she was the sort to really take the swing into a moment.

An edge he could appreciate.

“A goal huh.. Even for stuff like this.” Maybe if she was along the spectrum of his typical enemies the case might’ve been different! At best he could just reply with a bashful grin for the time being.

”Like the kind of things that can get’cha on your feet when you’re in a pinch right? That’s pretty deep. I’ll admit you did catch me off entirely for that one. Your face had me totally fooled there for a second!”

       Aw, he was even glaring at her. Maybe it was unfair of her to laugh, but she couldn’t help it. She gets rather fired up easily, especially in a fight. “Aw, lighten up I was just messin’ with ya!” she smirked. Of course she couldn’t bring herself to purposely hit a kid like him (unless they were evil or picking on her sister). Her temper gets to the best of her but she is trying her hardest to keep it down.

       “Yep. There’s going to be a lot of times you might start losing hope...try not to lose sight of whatever drives you, okay?” she didn’t know why she brought this up or how, but considering what she has been through, it’s always important to keep moving on. “My face...?” She almost forgot her eyes glow red too since it’s been a while. “Ah, sorry about that. But I guess that’s another lesson to be on your toes too!” She laughed.

As much as Yang would have liked some coffee, it would be best for her to stick with some tea for now. Otherwise she could be going off the walls like Nora would if she had any. But tea also kept keep her edge off...keeps her calm. She too reached for her own cup and begun to pour some into it followed by a hint of cream to it. 

As Weiss reached her question, Yang chuckled lightly after taking a drink. “It’s...it’s actually good. I mean, I feel used to it by now.” she answered simply, taking a look at her newly acquired limb. She watched how she clenched and released her fist, how easily the fingers can move and the vibrant yellow she customized. “I know it’s...going to be a part of me and there’s not much I can do about it. I’ve...already had my tears and all that.” she chuckled. “They didn’t have to send me one but...I’m realizing it’s kind of an honor too.”

“yang, i’ve been meaning to ask you something.” the ex-heiress sets a large tray with both pots of coffee and tea made. four cups along with other ones filled with cream and sugar. despite it just being the two of from for now. it has become a habit to create drinks for the four of them.

after she sets it down, she grabs the coffee, pouring herself a cup and adding a bit of cream in it, now sitting next to the blonde once she got herself a drink. “how is that arm treating you?” she knew the topic of choice could be a rocky one. could easily hit a nerve. but she is genuinely curious and worried. knowing how much it affected her at first. “it is the lastest atlas technology… but because of that, i am worried that it wasn’t fully tested. if there is any problems, you should let us know as soon as possible.”

♕ - “I am!? But I just ate–” Wait wasn’t these fighting words?! Seeing that battle lit expression upon her face was telling him nearly everything he needs to know. He keeps his posture prepared for any lunges while his eyes squint back towards her.

“Unless you like looking for fights here you might have the wrong guy if they did somethin’! Going out without a struggle isn’t something I’m too good at.”

Yang busted into laughter as she noticed how he easily fell for her joke/fighting words. The poor guy looked so confused yet he clearly looked like someone who can take a punch or two. It couldn’t hurt for any kind of quick spar, right? It was like her though, hit first and ask questions later.

“Well, that sounds like something you need to practice on first! The more your in trouble, the more you feel like your spirit may dim and weaken. Always know you have some kind of goal, or a purpose.”

     ‘there is no end to them…’ how did he end up here was still a mystery, the monsters were too durable, he barely even make any fatal injuries on them. it’s only getting stressful when the circumstances didn’t favor him, throwing him into such predicaments. if he made a run for it, would he be actually able to escape safely from this horde of monsters…? it’s one unfortunate event, it seemed. ‘and here i thought i’d be having time to figure out what was going on around me…’
