I got an unbelievably large amount of asks and requests for the aftermath so HERE IT IS!

I’m working on a master post for this au so please bare with me pffff

She does become more cautious of what she says and does. Scaring her by locking her in a tower alone definitely does the trick into keeping Spinel in her place, and it’s definitely not going to be the only time the Diamonds use this tactic. They TRY to comfort her after doing time-outs, but uh...they aren’t actually good at doing it. Meanwhile, Steven has a feeling something is off, but he has no clue yet...besides he has other things to worry about back on Earth and he isn’t on Homeworld often enough for him to figure it out.

Still, even after this kind of treatment Spinel is still clingy, still playful with the Diamonds and she loves them very much just as before.

The only difference now, is that she’s a massive liar.
