Science Officers Blog: Update regarding the Victorias secret sale.

Hello.

The results are in: 59.3% voted blue, 40.7% voted black.

A few helpful people have reached out and given me advice as to flattering my figure or even suggested both. While my budget does not allow purchasing both, I did illogically consider it.

I have ordered the Blue One Piece; I have faith that it will fit correctly. It should arrive in one week if all is well with the ship. Thank you all for helping me impress my captain.

thank you <3 im looking for a spock fanart. they were 3 drawings of spock, one of him as a child in vulcan robes, another in his blue tos uniform and then one in his red uniform (there might also be his parents and jim but im not sure on that). the background was simple flat colour, probably blue. i think i remember the artist selling prints of them as well. if anyone knows the artist or the drawings or has any links to it, i would be forever grateful

HI omg just found out about this blog after making a desperate post on my own blog about a fic I couldn’t find. It’s definitely a shot in the dark because I remember almost nothing about it except that it was k/s, on ao3, and kirk referred to spock as a “silver dark amulet/talisman” and I thought it was a really beautiful thing to say and it’s been driving me crazy that I can’t find it. even if you don’t find it thank you anyway!!

I was not able to find the fic, however I can tell you which tags I have already searched through so that you need not repeat what I've searched thru in ur quest to locate this If anyone knows which fic our friend is referring to please do not hesitate to reply to this post!! My thought process was-- what kind of fic would use that kind of wording???, and so searched as such. I've already filtered thru the ff: Alternate Universe- Magic, Magic, AU-Modern with Magic, AU-Harry Potter Setting, AU-Lord of the Rings, AU-Historical, AU-Greek Mythology, AU-Roman Mythology, AU-Gods and Goddesses, AU-Royalty, Fae and Fairies, Dragons. Thank you for letting me know about the sale. I have found two garments I believe he will like, though I am unsure which one to order to the ship.

I chose the black one because the heavily textured lace is sure to be an enjoyable sensory experience. I also am partial to garters and think the whole silhouette will please the captain well. The blue one reminded me of my work uniform and will draw his eyes to all the right places. I believe the Earth Phrase is "Less is more", though I am unsure if this sentiment applies to lingerie.

I know my captain very well, but like you said, I am really anticipating impressing him.

I will report follow ups on the purchase, arrival, and the captain's reaction.

Hello!!

There was a fic where Spock was going through Pon Farr and the enterprise was en route but unable to make it in time to new? Vulcan. I distinctly remember Jin walking through their shared bathroom in only a towel and talking to Spock about helping him through his Pon Farr. I also remember that after it was over and they had bonded Spock said Jim “lied” to him about not being in love with Spock prior to their bonding and Jim said Spock wouldn’t have believed him but would believe that Jin would sacrifice himself to save a crew member.

That’s all I can currently remember, if you are able to find it that would be amazing!!!!

Hi! This one might be a bit of a long shot, but I've had no luck so far despite both asking around and putting a hell of a lot of time into it, so I figured I'd see if you know what I'm looking for!

Just about the only thing I remember is this: Before Kirk became Captain, Spock was largely antisocial. He had no real friends or confidants. When Kirk joined the Enterprise, however, he puts effort into befriending Spock, and, to the shock of the crew, Spock responds well to this, becoming very nearly talkative once it becomes clear to him that Kirk is genuinely interested in what he has to say. I believe Uhura is the POV character for some of this, and she muses that she feels guilty that she never realized that Spock wasn't antisocial entirely by choice.

I think it was probably TOS (though it's always a toss up whether things are tagged properly), and it was probably decently short (under 14K), but neither of those are guarantees. It would have been complete, though.

(If you don't know the fic off the top of your head, don't feel too obligated to go searching - I've done a fair amount of that myself (and haven't given up yet), but frankly I am starting to worry that it's just been deleted since I first read it 😅 so, uh. no need to trouble yourself overmuch!)

It is a well known fact across all known galaxies that Vulcans are a very private people. Be it in culture, civilian life… in all aspects of their lives, they keep to themselves. They do not encourage emotion or public displays of affection. Even the vulcans that are allowed to be more intimate, such as married couples, only seem to “touch their hands”, and nothing else. This is why, when James Tiberius Kirk, captain of the USS Enterprise, publicly stated that he was in a serious relationship with his Vulcan first-officer, people were… stunned, to say the least.

I was unfamiliar with the term; however, I have done some research to familiarize myself with the matter upon receiving this question.

I assume you are not mistaking me for a female opera singer, so the second definition is what I will refer to. "A self-important person who is temperamental and difficult to please"... Now Really.

As a being whose actions are based solely on logic and reasoning, iI find the word "temperamental" to be the opposite myself. And as for self-important, my life is solely dedicated to my Captain and Ship.

But perhaps this is a misunderstanding.

I have also found this song titled "Diva" by the artist Beyonce, which I found quite pleasing to the ears. And while I am not a female, I resonated with the message (as I often hustle around the ship as quick as I can)

I just discovered your blog a few days ago and I was wondering if you possibly help me out.

There was a spirk fic i read once and adored that was about an alien cloak the enterprise found on a planet and when they beamed up with it, it turn Spock into a rabbit and then Kirk had to take care of him until they found a way to turn him back.

During a routine science mission on a frozen planet, Spock suddenly finds himself in something of a hairy situation. Kirk and the crew scramble to understand the cause of Spock's sudden leporine predicament - before it's too late and the Enterprise is down one first officer (and up one fuzzy mascot). Less crackfic than you might expect, I've been told. Also, as has been suggested on more than one occasion, possibly worth reading just for the chapter titles.
