anyway it’s gotten to a point where every time my friends see something spirou related they send a photo of it to me (and living in France, its not a rare occurence, happens maybe twice a week) so now my camera roll is just filled with random spirou related things sent by my friends…. One of them actually came up for the name for this blog, she said i talk about BDs so much its like a religion, and another friend then proceeded to send me this. so… yea…

What is your opinion about Le petit Spirou?

The comic? Creepy and full of innapropriate jokes. The Character? I hate his ass, i already don't like children but he's on a whole other level of being a child.

As far as i'm concerned it will never be canon to any universe and it's just a fever dream we're all having.

in high school I used to fantasize about drawing a Spirou et Fantasio adventure but now I’m old and too aware that if I did it would be terrible `___`

I have some pretty strong reservations with the new Spirou album but I’m still pleased to see Seccotine again albeit with breast implants or something

Unpublished short Christmas story

This short Christmas story was written and drawn for Journal de Spirou Christmas special 1949. Dupuis wanted something Christmassy for Spirou and Fantasio, even when they were in the jungle in the story ‘Spirou chez les Pygmées’. Eventually, in the album ‘4 avontures de Spirou et Fantasio’, this wasn’t published.

I don’t get why they are praying at the Christmas tree. I don’t know anything about religion, was this usual in the past?
