It's your decision whether or not to tag "Top Shen Jiu". Can also choose to tag "top/bottom left untagged"

Doesn't have to follow the daily prompts at all

Needs to embody the spirit of the challenge “Top Shen Jiu” including but not limited to him being a switch, dom top, stone top, non-penetrative dom, etc

No character or ship bashing

No bashing of other artists or writers

Additionally:

Domming =/= Topping. Shen Jiu domming from the bottom, while juicy, does not follow the spirit of the challenge. You can still make it, just not as a submission for this event

You can have non-traditional top roles such as “omega shen jiu” or “shen jiu has a pussy” as long as he remains a top

Some Dead Dove or Dark Theme content has been included among the prompts. It does not need to be included in your work if you don’t want it to. And be sure to tag this or give warnings if you do include it

THE INTEREST CHECK IS NOW CLOSED! Thank you to everyone who filled it out; we got over 50 responses! 💚

We'll be doing a 9 day prompt challenge for SpiteJiu starting on September 22nd and going to the 30th using the prompts y'all gave! Those will be posted later this week

Additionally, the acceptance period for event submissions to the AO3 collection will extend two months after the final prompt day (Nov 30th). Because we know that Sept is a very busy month with other Scum Villain events and university classes starting back up.

And as a reward for the 50 responses and 100 followers on bsky, there'll be a special gift!

I have a question.

Why the rule with not tagging for the event? Wouldn't that just cause people other than this anon to accidentally read content they might be uncomfortable with or get squicked over? Wouldn't the anon still be spited without this rule?

It just kinda feels like people who didn't do anything wrong are getting dragged into this.

💚 I just want to make sure this event is 18+? Some fandom events aren't and I just don't feel comfortable with minors

Yes! THIS EVENT IS 18+ ONLY, it's discouraged for anyone underage to participate. We cannot see how minors should be allowed to join an event specifically to create NSFW works

💚 Will we know the prompts ahead of time?

Yes, at a certain point the interest check will close (probably after a full week) and then an info-graphic/announcement of the prompts will be created and shared

💚 I would love to record a podfic for this event but I might need help finding top SJ fics to choose from

We're currently working on making a bookmark collection on AO3 to promote/share existing fics leading up to the event. There'll also be a collection for people to submit their works anonymously

💚 This me asking just to be sure, but are mxtx crossovers allowed?

Sure! As long as Shen Jiu is a top, anything is allowed!
