I don’t want to waste my figurative “last breath” complaining about Tumblr’s poor judgement. It’s safe to assume that we’re all in agreement there. Instead, I’d like to thank you all for making this such an amazing experience. Based on a generally off-putting vibe I gleaned from other sites (4chan, rule34, DeviantArt, pornhub), I was hesitant to post my g/t art online. I saw harassment of all sorts that I didn’t think I could emotionally handle if directed my way... so when my man @spokleart reblogged something from this pulseless art-dump and my smut began to get some attention, I was terrified! But I couldn’t believe just how wrong I was. 

To echo so many other members of the community, this was a safe place where I could explore this interest alongside others in a thoughtful and respectful manner. I’ve been able to interact with artists I’ve long admired from a distance and discovered many more! Beautiful aspects of this interest have been able to thrive here, aspects that couldn’t withstand the toxic environment of other sites. I pray that they can continue to thrive in new places.

You folks didn’t just support me in making my lewd dewdles. You supported me on a wild, two-month adventure of learning to accept this aspect of my sexuality. Thank you for being consistently kind, supportive, and thirsty af.

That’s a great point, Jora! I certainly owe a lot to the size artists who’ve reblogged my smut and would love an opportunity to pay that kindness forward. However, as @two-ts-two mentioned in the comments, I’ve often passed over artists’ blogs without realizing they are creating their own content, simply because it’s lost amidst reblogged content that I’ve already seen. I think making a separate reblog account will be the way for me to go, just so that sifting through reblogs isn’t the default for my followers. That way I can also reblog other things unrelated to g/t art, like cat videos and anatomy reference and shading tutorials aND CAT VIDEOS AND

So tumblr has made a lot of size content unsearchable. This has already effected the way that many content creators monetize their work. NSFW accounts on tumblr have become invisible to anyone that hasn’t already heard of them, and you don’t need a degree in digital marketing to see how that’s bad for business.

I’m not leaving, I’m just trying to adapt! So I want to know: in addition to commissions, what other content would you like to see from ‘ol Spitty?

Process videos? PSD files? Tutorials? Streaming? A request box for low-tier patrons? Art trades? Collaborations? Other things that I’ve not thought of?

I’d love to hear your suggestions, esp. from other artists! I don’t know how to do any of this stuff, but with tumblr takin a big dump on my face, now would be a good time to learn! Thanks in advance for the feedback, love you sweeties ~

Your internal mouth pics are absolutely stellar, as is your grasp of perspective and scale! Keep up the fantastic work! If you ever have the time or are in the mood for an art trade, I'd love to do one with you. No worries if that's not your thing, I'd understand, just keep on doing what you do.

Ohmigosh thank you! I'm working on my perspective issues but I'm pleased to hear you enjoy my stuff as it stands now. As for art trades, I don't really know if it's my thing yet?? I'm still trying to figure out how to manage all this in terms of marketing and time-management... and neither of those things are my strong suit ♣️♣️♣️♣️ So I'll get back to you on that one later!

Oh boy... my recommendation would really depend on the taste of the person asking! Just understand that this answer is just kinda based on what I'm feeling at this moment. This isn't the greatest movie of all time, it's not even my favorite, just one I've been thinkin about recently.

End of Evangelion (1997, Hideaki Anno)

If you're willing to sit through all of Neon Genesis Evangelion, aka both the best and worst thing ever to happen to anime, some people will tell you to skip the last two episodes and just watch End of Evangelion. End of Evangelion is misnamed, seeing as the Evangelion franchise will continue until it can no longer make millions or until the sun burns out, whichever comes first. But as this franchise mutates into the monster that will eventually destroy earth, I think this movie makes it all worthwhile.

Visually stunning and deeply disturbing, everything is full-throttle in this industry-defining apocalypse film. Whether you enjoy it or not, there are shots from this film that will stay with you forever -- not because they are shocking or cheap, but because they unlock chambers of the human heart that you hadn't even realized were there. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot about the GIANT FIGHTING ROBOTS

Family's good! Not to be sappy but I love my family more than just about anything in the world. My siblings are both extremely intelligent and high-achieving people and our parents have always been supportive of our lifestyles. We don't always agree but the love is always there

Short answer is I just like them and they're fun to draw! Long answer: I personally don't want perfect supermodel-lookin people in my fantasies. It breaks my suspension of disbelief a bit, and seeing as all g/t scenarios are preeetty farfetched, I need all the help I can get to immerse myself properly! Besides, beautiful people are too often portrayed as thoughtlessly cruel. My fantasy isn't necessarily "cruel, beautiful ladies," but instead "power can turn anyone cruel" (which is a fucked up thing to get excited about, but, um... yeah)
