This isn’t relevant to anything right now but for my non-UK friends, particularly the US inhabitants, please do not read, share or believe the Daily Mail.

It is a well-known fact in this country that the Daily Mail is a bigoted hate rag dedicated to selling lies. Think of the most perjorative description of Fox News and then consider this is what Wikipedia thinks about the Daily Mail.

It has also been noted for its unreliability and widely criticised for its printing of sensationalist and inaccurate scare stories of science and medical research,[17][18][19][20] and for instances of plagiarism and copyright infringement.[21][22][23][24] In February 2017, the Daily Mail became the first source to be deprecated as an “unreliable source” for use as a reference on the English Wikipedia.[25]

People looking to justify their beliefs are going to use it anyway but I hope this empowers people to push back against using their ‘evidence’.
