Assorted Poetry Pt. 1: Love, Revisited

Captivated, I linger here, trying to ascertain my thoughts, the meaning of my emotions. Jumbled, they remain on my mind. Simple, yet unclear. Known, but not understood.

I gaze towards their subject, a masterpiece of humanity, a glimpse of divine. Their beauty apparent, contrasting my stains, my faults and sins.

They come alongside me, compassion in their eyes, grace in their voice. Why they stay with me, a broken man, I can't comprehend.

Memories of ones before appear, flooding my mind, full of bittersweet regret. Now one question remains. Will this be different, or will I fall again?

Not only is he an amazing swordsman, but has inhuman power unlike any person before him. Let me explain.

All of the champions were chosen because they have special and mystical power. Mipha has the power of healing, Daruk has the power of protection, etc. But Wild doesn't appear to have powers, until you look into the way that he fights. He is able to duck under enemy attacks and make strikes at inhuman speed. This means that he is able to, either, move faster than any being alive in that timeline, or he is able to slow down his opponents and take advantage of this in battle.

Hot take but I think that Wild is a better swordsman than he’s given credit for. I mean, Before the calamity he was frequently referred to as the greatest swordsman of his time, and that’s when he was like 12-16, at 4 he could take down full-grown knights and at like 15ish was trusted to be the sole protector of the princess when they went out on research missions and to pray at the springs.

 Even after he wakes up from the shrine of resurrection one of the only things he remembers how to do is fight, not even just with a sword but with multiple kinds of weapons. He instinctively knows how to kill things with even just a stick or a soup ladle. It kinda frustrates me when he’s depicted as being bad at it because of his memory loss when it’s shown to be one of the few things he was able to retain. Just because he doesn’t have to learn a whole lot of special moves during his quest doesn’t mean he’s a bad swordsman.

Have you ever had a conversation with someone that just makes you want to fight to the death to protect them? I don't know why, but I seem to have those a lot nowadays.

Could just be me being crazy, who knows.

The thing that lots of people forget is that instead of not working out at all and feeling terrible some of the time, you can just work out every day, and feel slightly miserable all of the time

$27 and 10 minutes until I can try out the new DLC for Splatoon 3. I'm so good at saving money.

At long last, after hours of grinding, I finally finished the Splatoon 3 Catalog for the Chill Season!

*sighs in relief*

Well, on to the Fresh Season!

I usually wait until I know a person well enough to determine whether or not they’d like it before bringing it up. Once I start talking, it’s hard to stop. haha
