Technically the idea is to write your own take on the prompt; however, considering the premise of this blog, we don’t see any reason why you couldn’t add on to another person’s submission with their permission. :)

Prompt: Newly human Cas has been staying at the bunker and helping the boys with research while they are away on hunts but has been feeling lonely being in the bunker by himself. During one of the lulls between hunts, he broaches the subject of getting a pet. Dean isn’t very excited about the idea. (established Destiel)

(Remember: This is the ship round so ship to your heart’s content. We’d like to keep this Teen rated so no sexual acts on screen. Innuendo is allowed. Sam is in the bunker so he can be included but side characters will have to be over the phone or on Skype.)

We’re thinking about adding a healthy dash of smut to the spnroundrobin experience and need your lovely opinions.

That’s right! We want to start collaborating with you all on something near and dear to our hearts (and our filthy filthy minds).

Namely, sweet smutty sex.

Right now there are two different set up ideas we’re toying with:

Set up #1 - Regular old roundrobin

This would be set up like a usual round but with a smutty prompt. There would be a sign up and schedule as well as a limit on how much can be added at a time.

As for what type of sexual situations/kinks are allowed, we’re thinking that there will be a specification as to how vanilla or kinky the round can be. We will handle tagging for what is added each round.

Set up #2 - Variations

The other option we’re considering is more of a way to see what different takes on the same prompt we can come up with.

In this situation, we’d post a prompt (either text or possibly a visual such as a gif or a picture) and anyone would be free to reblog the post to add you submission. You would have to reblog the masterpost in order for your submission to count and you’d have to list any kinks or warnings for when we put together the result post.

So that’s it, those are our ideas so far. We may end up only doing ine or both of these depending on the interest that’s shown. We’d really like to see how everyone feels about this before starting so please either reblog and comment with suggestions or to let us know if your interested.

Okay, my attempt to get on track didn’t quite go as planned...

But failure is not an option!! I’m going to try and get in touch with everyone who is still participating in the current rounds to see where they stand. I’m also mulling over a few ideas but I don’t want to get too far ahead of things.

spnroundrobin PSA

In light of the current set up of the rounds, we’d like to take a moment to remind all of our participants that if you need to drop from the round, all you have to do is let a mod know.

Whether it’s being too busy (real life can be a party pooper), writer’s block (the evil curse that’s no writer’s fault), or the prompt no longer jiving with you (hey, it happens), there’s no shame in stepping away.

This is supposed to be fun. Life is stressful enough on its own and we would hate to add to it. If being a participant starts to become a stress, spnroundrobin isn’t fun anymore and we wouldn’t want to stress anyone out.

Take care of yourselves first, guys. We’ll still be here when you’re ready to write with us again. :D

Prompt: Dean has been acting sketchy for the past couple days and Sam and Cas are curious as to why. After doing a bit of poking around, they discover that Dean has been preparing for a Renaissance fair that Charlie found near the bunker and invited him to attend. Sam and Cas want to come along much to Dean’s embarrassment; shenanigans ensue.
