"Okay, but like, skittles and starbursts are basically the same things if you really think about it," you unwrapped a starburst and popped it into your mouth.

"No, no, no, no," Gabriel paused to swallow the giant mouthful of food, "Skittles, are like little drops of rainbows, while-" you interrupted him.

"While starbursts are square cutouts of rainbows!" you argued.

"You're like actually insane, no, starbursts are little boxes of happiness," he admired.

"Then what are skittles?" you squinted at him.

"Drops of happiness,"

Your mouth was slightly agape as you stared at the angel in front of you, pointing your finger slightly towards him, you began, "So-" Gabriel cut you off.

"If you say they're basically the same thing so help me, I will drop you into an ocean of skittles and starbursts," you closed your mouth and lowered your finger.

A knock broke your thoughts as you both looked up to see Sam in the doorway, eyes wide as he stared at all the wrappers around your room. "What the hell?"

"We're having a competition between candies," you replied, a mouthful of starbursts.

"A competition between candies?" Sam questioned.

"Yeah, so we have different categories like chocolate candies, chewy candies, hard candies, sour candies, sweet candies, and stuff like that. Right now we're working on fruity chewy candies which we have narrowed down to skittles and starbursts. I think starbursts are better, but Gabe prefers skittles, and now we have to do a tiebreaker. But then! After we get done with this, we're gonna do--are you ready for this?-- Battle of the cakes!" you explained, clapping once then leaning back.

"Right..." Sam slowly nodded. "Starbursts are better," Sam said as he closed the door.

"HA!" you pointed your finger at Gabe.

"He doesn't know what he's talking about, all he eats is rabbit food anyway,"

Sighing, "Fine, you win, let's do chocolate candies next because Twix is already the winner," you said, reaching over to grab the box marked Chocolate Contestants.

"What did you just say?" Gabriel stopped himself.

"Twix is the winner," you stated,

"No, no, no, no," Gabriel adjusted so he could clearly explain why his choice of chocolate candy was better than Twix.

Ok folks imma get something out rather tonight or tomorrow! The week went by super fast!! I’ve been working on getting my driver’s license, been helping friends with garage sales, went to the state fair and saw one of my favorite bands live (best experience of my life), my dad’s bday is coming up, got birthday parties to go to, and fall semester is approaching!! I know I don’t post much now but I will probably go silent once fall semester hits

You stared at the numbers in front of you. You’ve been doing math homework for over two hours, and you’re still not even close to being finished. You’re still trying to figure out exactly how to do it, but you just can’t seem to get the hang of it.

“You’re never this quiet, what’s wrong?” Dean commented, breaking away from his conversation with Sam. You didn’t even hear him, you had tuned them out a long time ago. You flipped your pencil over and erased something on your paper aggressively. “Y/N,” Dean called. Dean looked to Sam and shrugged, reaching over and grabbing your homework from you. You huffed and snapped your head up. 

“What the hell, Dean? I need that,” you reached over to try and grab it, but Dean lifted it off the table and above his head.

“Don’t ignore me and I wouldn’t have to take it,” Dean replied, putting on his dad-like voice.

“Can I just get my homework done, please?” you asked, glancing at Sam.

“Are you still doing math?” Sam asked, making you nod, “It’s been like,” Sam checked his watch, “Almost three hours, and you’re still working on it?” 

You sighed and shrugged. “C’mon, Y/N, it can’t be that hard,” Dean huffed.

“By all means, Dean, you try and do it,” 

Dean scoffed and looked at the homework, glancing at you for a second before his eyes started scanning the paper. He readjusted his position as his eyebrows furrowed together with his lips moving slightly. His hands pointed to various spots on the paper as he tried to follow what in good hell was going on in this problem. 

Dean threw the papers onto the table, “I’m not in school anymore, I don’t gotta do it,” he leaned back in his chair. 

You grabbed your paper and pulled it towards you. “I just... Don’t understand it. It’s been like this for three weeks. I spend most of my time on math; trying to figure it out and then I barely have enough time to do any other homework.” 

“Three weeks? Y/N, if it’s been a problem for this long, why didn’t you tell us? You could’ve told us, and we would’ve done something,” Sam chimed in, sliding the homework over so he could look at it.

“I just thought I’d be able to figure it out myself,” you rubbed your eyes.

“Want me to teach you? I remember doing something similar when I was in school. Granted, it’s a lot more complicated now, but still has the same foundation,”

“Really? You understand this?” you questioned with a slight laugh.

“Yeah,” Sam grabbed your pencil and started writing this down as he explained what he was doing.
