I have a surprising amount of dog instincts when it comes to interacting with cats?

Like I guess my brain goes "oh an animal friend!"

I find myself meowing in situations where I would bark (due to meowing being socially acceptable in this household and also I'm more comfortable meowing for some reason). I also tilted my head sideways at a cat when it was looking at me, which I haven't really done before, and I just kind of did naturally. And when I want to interact with a dog/cat I do this "drop" thing that kind of reminds me of play bowing, or something similar I guess. Which I started doing after I started embracing being animalistic. I wonder if I'm more canine than I thought (I used to think that being more feline-like was how I was by default and the canine thing came on later due to experiences and the extent of it was only what I knew).

sometimes I try to play with my cats and imitate them but I think I play more like a dog. If I could I would try playing with a dog to see if they'd understand it better. Unfortunately I'd not be able to run around with them

It is so good to know there are small little ways to cope with things or make things easier and less stressful for me. Like using non-mint toothpaste, or unscented soap, and organizing things in a way that makes it so that everything has one place and is easy to move around and is not stacked.
