This is a rant for no one, really. I've been so stressed lately when it comes to my art. I've always been told from a very early age that I am "gifted" in art, from teachers and mentors, friends and family, and honestly, I think it made me lazy. Not that I didn't draw, just that I didn't need to *really* study, because I was "naturally talented" enough to fake it.

I don't know anatomy. Not really. I didn't seriously start studying it until recently (a year or two ago?). I don't know color theory. I just intuitively grab what I think looks nice. I also found out I've been holding my pencil/wacom pen/tattoo machines wrong my whole life. and am in the process of changing that as well.

I get imposter's syndrome sooo fucking bad sometimes. I do my art and hope no one calls me out on it.

And I know it shows in my work. I can feel the difference of each piece of whether or not I had a death grip on my art utensil the entire time.

So, what do we do? How do we work through all of this?

We study. We draw. We push through the bullshit barriers our brain attacks us with. And we create. I'm hoping I can relax soon, and just chill and doodle the random shit that's in my imagination box.

Roman and Logan were kinda mean to Patton at times at the start of the show, such as both saying in unison "don't screw it up" when he gets excited in the Q&A, before they kinda learned their lesson in Growing Up

I wonder if that's why he grew attached to Virgil the quickest, because he could identify with him more
