oh you think your show's slow burn situationship is sooo insane??? really??? there is an episode in season 7 of the x files that opens with scully leaving bed shirtless and she walks away and it pans over to mulder, also shirtless and still sleeping. THIS IS NEVER MENTIONED OR EXPLAINED. at the END of season 8, scully's baby is revealed to be mulder's and they confess their feelings for one another. AFTER HAVING AN ACTUAL BABY TOGETHER. thus, the popular fan theory, the season of secret sex.

I wonder what Mulder and Scully would answer if they were asked for how long they've been together.

I think Scully would basically try to quickly summarize their relationship and be like "since 2000 but we met much earlier."

And Mulder would be like "since 1992 😎"
