What’s the sexiest fanfic you’ve ever read?

ieeeee Anon, put me on the spot why dont'cha? I'm kidding, lol. I feel like because of the volume of lemons I have produced over the years, I have to, you know... spread the love. These are all pieces hot enough to bring me back for a round two (or three or four). They're like comfort fics at this point lol. Also, a lot of these writers have some other seriously smoking hot pieces, but if I have to pick a fave...

Touch by @swishywillow. I think this might be one of the first sexy fanfics I read. It's canon compliant, a very quick read but oh so delicious. (If you like this one, proceed on to her story Sweet Dreams)

Now, before Cate comes at me for throwing her on this list, I will admit this too is fairly tame in terms of sexual content, but see the thing is, I am not a vampire type of girl mmkay? And yet DANG! this one is *chef’s kiss* Makes me wanna find a vampire and.., okay you get the point. Sensual.

Merry, Happy, Joyful by @andthisisthewonder / ellembee. Okay, another fairly tame one, but there’s nothing sexier than a good sense of humor and this one has me rolling in laughter every time I read it. Excellent fic.

(Not medieval necessarily but ‘old time’ setting) Peeta and Katniss have been betrothed since they were children, but have only seen each other through portraits/paintings. Both grow resentful of their arranged marriage, and act up against it; K being as wild and unladylike as possible: hunting, wearing trousers, riding bareback; P being a rake, silver tongue con artist, etc. A month before their wedding, they meet at a The Hub (black market/pub/whatever disresputable place you want it to be) and bet at arm wrestling against each other. Is it love at first sight? Do they armwrestle each other? Do they recognize one another? Will there be smut because ‘hey, we’ll be marry in a month anyway’? Writers choice! Summery: A secret trip to the underground market goes unexpectedly for Price Peeta Mellark when he happens to run into his betrothed, Lady Katniss Everdeen.

A/N- This prompt was so, is much more difficult that it had any right in the world to be every. This is literally the 5th different story I tried based on it…but I think it was worth it and defiantly love what I did! And I think prompter will too :). It is quite a beast, being split into two parts. Sadly, the other won’t be done by the deadline but it is written! Just in need of some editing so bear with me a day or two for the follow up. Katniss looked as lonely as he felt.

Even if he didn’t stand a chance with her, she deserved a decent Valentine’s Day.

Picking up his office phone, Peeta watched her sadly shuffle her papers at her cubicle, when the person on the other line picked up.

“Hi, I’d like to place a delivery order. One rose for each day leading up to Valentine’s Day.”

“Sure,” the operator replied. “And for Valentine’s Day?”

Peeta took a deep breath. 

“I’ll make that delivery myself.”

Day One

Katniss settled down at her desk, heaving a sigh as she read over the text from her sister.

Prim meant well but she didn’t want to spend the day with her sister and Cato, her brother-in-law. Also, as much as he loved her, Katniss was quite sure that Cato wouldn’t be too keen on keeping her from crying all over herself.

‘You and Cato should spend Valentine’s Day alone. It’s going to be your last one as just you two. In six-ish months, you’ll be parents!’ she typed in response. ‘Really, I’ll be fine at home. I’ll even watch Buttercup.’

Prim’s response was quick: ‘There is no way you’re becoming a cat woman. Also, I know you hate Buttercup.’

‘I do not—’

“That’s some furious texting you’re doing.”

Katniss’ eyes shot up to the man standing in front of her cubicle and her face flooded with heat.

“I’m so sorry, Mr. Mellark—”

“Peeta.”

Outside Chance Revival #3

@stjohn27​ Wanted to see poor Peeta sweating it up apparently. And now, the scene from Chapter 3, in which Katniss brings him a broken ski and oh right it’s also the first time they’ve seen each other in ten years, no big deal. Peeta drops quite a few f-bombs in his head here, but honestly can you blame the poor guy?

I go a whole day without thinking about her once. I’m actually proud of myself when it first hits me over dinner. Nothing fancy, just something to get calories in my body. Actually, my father would be appalled by my frozen meal cooked in the microwave. Truthfully, my whole family would be appalled for a variety of reasons.

So would she.

That’s it. That’s the thought. The thought that ends my not thinking about her all day streak is centered on my pathetic meal choice. 

Katniss would be appalled by my dinner. Disgusted.

The prompt: Peeta and Katniss meeting Lavinia. Lavinia broke up with Peeta because she wanted to find someone who really loved her back, and I think she would be very happy for him. Maybe she goes to a competition to see him? Just want to close that circle, because it can be done happily. – from cheapchinesebicycle

I agree. This one is low on plot, but it is nice to write a sort of happy kind of closure to a relationship rather than a nasty/messy end. Sadly, my brain couldn’t wrap around it unless I wrote Peeta and Lavinia breaking from her POV first, which you can find HERE. Also, fair warning, I had to dance around spoilers to make this one work. Otherwise, enjoy and I’ll keep writing.

It’s almost a shock when I see the green jeep parked in front of the cabin next door, when I come back from the store. I bite my lip and throw my car into park. Then I sit in the car, weighing my options. 

I haven’t seen Peeta in person in years. To have him just crop up here like this is a little surreal. Even though a part of me always half expected it, half dreaded it, I was always able to shake it off in the past. The odds couldn’t be that great. It’s a big lake, after all.

I spent the day getting ready—waxing, showering, exfoliating places on my body that I had no idea existed. Johanna has already left for the weekend, before going she wished me luck and told me to remember to pee…after.

“Why?” I had asked.

“Nothing is worst than getting a UTI after your first time,” Johanna informed. “Trust me, I know.”

“Duly noted.”

So that’s all I know so far about intercourse, you must urinate after.

Summary: Sometimes Katniss asks too much of Peeta. This time she’s gone too far. College Everlark. Katniss and Peeta POV’s.

“So, will you do it?” I asked him, my heart pounding. “Will you help me?”

Sitting across from me on my couch, my childhood friend Peeta stares at me in shock. He’s holding my throw pillow against his chest…almost defensively.

If we’re being honest, Peeta has every reason to be wary of me. There wasn’t a day when we were children that I wasn’t coming up with some sort of idea that usually got him hurt or in trouble.

“What idiot suggested that you do this?” he asks immediately.

I look towards the closed bedroom door, where my roommate is sleeping off her hangover, before responding, “Johanna.”

“Figures,” he mutters. “I don’t think so, Katniss.” Peeta smiles gently; it’s the same smile he gives me right before he’s about the lay some truth on me—truth I usually don’t want to hear. “I mean, you’re pretty, but I don’t see you like that.”

My jaw drops at his words. “What do you mean?”

“I mean I’m not sexually attracted to you,” he replies calmly.
