Lilia almost tripped as that thought suddenly invaded his mind. How rare. He hasn’t floundered in such a way since his early 200s.

He twirled around to face you. Your shocked expression has his lips twitching into a smirk.

WOAH DAMN WHO IS THE NEW CHARACTER IN HADES 2?!?!

Okay, I hate to do this, especially now considering the situation, but I really just don’t know what else to do.

I’m scarily close to failing all of my classes this year because of issues with my heart which my mother refused to take me to the hospital for for over a month and I can’t get an appointment through my GP for at least another three months and my state’s been getting worse. Ive almost collapsed several times, and the heat and having to walk to my classes every day because my mother won’t drive me nor pay for the bus and my attendance has dropped from 100% because I literally cannot get myself in to my classes so I’m not getting my bursary either is only making it worse.

I would go private, but I’m not allowed to work, and cannot do so behind my mother’s back without risk of being kicked out, so this is kind of my only avenue to be able to go to a cardiologist privately.

I kind of have to figure out a way to cover travel expenses so I don’t fail this year and have to pay for my next year which I won’t be able to do and also pay for a private cardiologist appointment because I’m genuinely scared for how my condition’s been worsening over the past two years.

My commissions are open and prices are up for discussion, honestly, literally anything helps right now, because I know bad everywhere else is and I don’t want to distract from that, but this is kind of the last option I have.

CHAPTER 1

Disclamer: english is not my first language and this is my first fic as I said so this might be pretty bad

It was yet another meeting in the NXX quarters except the mood in the air said otherwise. The room was quiet save for the low hum of the computer screens, giving voice to various buzzing emotions. The room was silent and yet it wasn't. Everyone seemed a bit tense. Well everyone except a key member of the NXX. Ever since Letha Graye's case came to a close, Rosa has not been attending any of the NXX meetings and has taken a leave from the office. Nothing was out of the ordinary about that except for the fact that she did not answer any of the calls or replied to any of the messages either.

"Has anyone been able to contact her yet?" Artem start glancing at everyone's faces

"I tried to call her yesterday but she didn't pick up." Marius says

"She hasn't replied to any of my messages either" Luke adds

And room falls silent once again. They thought that she still needed time after this case so everyone chose to give her some space, but the fact that she won't pick up calls or reply to any texts made them worried. It took the boys their everything not to just drop everything and rush over to her apartment to check on her. But alas all they could do was just wait.

The next day while Artem was working in his office he received an unexpected call from the reception saying that someone wanted to meet him.

In the office walks a tall young man probably in his early twenties. He had brown hair and eyes a light shade of rose

"Hello? May I come in?" He asks

Artem didn't recognize that man. He assumed he was another client seeking legal aid. But this stranger never specified that.

"Yes. You may" He said as the stranger walked in. He extended his hand as a formal greeting just as the man bowed in his own was of greeting. They both froze mid action.

The stranger was the first to recover

"Oh right" He looked at Artem apologetically as he shake hands with him in greetings

"So, how may I help you?" Artem asked

"Yes. Im just here to deliver these." The stranger said as he handed Artem a very familiar stack of documents

"Rosa asked me to deliver these to you" The man said

Artem froze and glanced at the man. This time he paid attention to all the details. He was a little hesitant and perhaps afraid? as he asked

"....and who might you be?"

"Oh. She didn't tell you?" The stranger said continuing

"I'm her brother. Allen." He stated

"I'm here to visit her"

Artem released a breath he didn't know he was holding he seemed much more relaxed now that he knew the relationship between the two.

"Ah, I see." He smiled "but why didn't she herself deliver these documents herself? Is she okay?" He asked his voice laced with concern

Allen reassured her saying "ah no no! She's okay! It's just that we have some family issue so she's busy packing"

"Packing?"

"Oh yes um-" He handed the senior attorney a formal letter for a long leave

His eyes widened for a millisecond before he schooled his expression once more as he looked over at the contents of the letter before giving a curt nod.

"I see. Well thankyou for delivering these to me" Artem said as Allen left his office

"Well...this is unexpected " He thought

Something like this has never happened before....perhaps....he should check up on her?

"Stop fighting you two" The two siblings froze as they looked back at the man walking their way with an obvious scowl on his face

Everyone sat at the round table to start their so called family meeting

"I wish to retire and so you've all been gathered here to prove yourself worthy of the seat to become the next head of the yakuza"

If you think about it... Meleanor's blessing for baby Malleus unwittingly cursed him instead. 😭

She said that for the fae on these lands, he will be the auspicious star that they will look up to as he burned brighter than anyone. For the humans, he will be the malevolent star that they will cower from, out of fear that he will bring their destruction.

She accidentally set him up to be either a god or a monster. 😭

But since Yuu is someone who isn't from Twisted Wonderland, they're unaffected by the curse. They're... They're the cursebreaker... 🥹

Delusional take, but maybe not so delusional now because of all this reveal, but Yuu's appearance is likely a summons from either Meleanor in some way or Levan, just to counteract the curse and let him know that he isn't so unlovable from a stranger's point of view. That he's someone worthy of a friend just as how he is, and not because everyone's entitled to bow to him because of his inherited privileges. That he too, can be someone's source of mundane happiness.
