I'm my friend's biggest fan and proud fanartist!

I live for this joy of creation. I LOVE to create things for people, I love expressing my excitement through the art I make. If that encourages my friends to 'keep making more stuff!' I'm all for it! God! I love you guyses OCs and I love the comics and stage plays and poetry and concept scripts, and sketches and JUST. it's beautiful!

Apparently, my decision to be silly and make fanart of someone's writing (because I genuinely enjoy the story the person is writing and I was struck with inspiration upon reading a particular scene) has benevolent and wildly unforeseen consequences.

I apparently gained a bit of control of the canon because said writer really loved the art and decided what I drew/draw is canon.

2. Writer put said artwork into the document of his story right below the scene, so now it's IN the story where people who read the story will see it (with a link to me)

3. He sent the artwork to all his friends and people he knows because he was so excited

Wholesome interaction and I watched him do all that in real time, good stuff. However...there are two more consequences I was notified of today...nearly a full week after I gave the artwork.

Seeing the artwork caused his friends to become interested in reading and hearing about his story, which means more people are reading what he's writing and giving him critique on the story (which he actively asks for).

Apparently, upon seeing the art, his writer friends got a sudden second wind to pick back up writing they'd abandoned for a few months. Because, I quote, "seeing that someone enjoyed {his} writing enough to take the time to make art of it gave them the motivation that maybe THEY can write something that will inspire someone to also create something." I have accidentally caused a writing frenzy among his writer friends and my silly idea to make art for someone has had a butterfly effect for people who I don't even know.

Uhh...I'm pretty sure there's a moral here but I am tired and have a great deal of emotions about this.

Thought about the idea of - in attempt to make safety cool again Reki-Langa team up - wanting to be a good influence on the kids🥺 - or like, maybe they had a pretty daunting conversation about preventable injuries,, or like. i dunno raising sales n capitalism cause DopeSketch is the only good sports store we know of lmao -

Reki starts making custom gear, like really awesome stuff that plays into peoples styles and aesthetics- kneecaps with spikes, elbow pads with streamers,, buttons,,, lights! helmets with a duckie face, devil horns, cat ears, you name it!!!

Langas now skating around in his pretty snowglobe kneepads and yeti helmet and the intention is to get people/kids to think 'holy shit SNOW is wearing some COOL safety gear, I gotta get in on that too' cause Snows on his influencer arc ✌️

he draws on his hands in class sometimes, why wouldnt he, hes an artist, ofc he does, - probably also on langas if he ever allowed reki to.. reki would want a tattoo i think....

he probably has lots lots lots more pins and brooches and badges and stickers and keychains and - i think hed have patches too over his jacket, and jeans......

i wish i drew more but i only gave him two pins here - "FUN" and Sonic cause... i think Miya would make him play some Sonic games and he'd be a fanboy after that ✌️

what else hm, AH his missing tooth. hes definitely chipped or lost one entirely. how could he not,, bros falling on his face too many times to have perfect teeth after allat

he needs a cool backprint hoodie imo. probably something he'd customize himself 🫶

Again, I didn't draw this part but i think he would have similar pairs of sneakers in different colours and deliberately mismatch them sometimes. i think it would LOOK COOL (also mix matched socks - it probably bothers his mother though haha..)

Ive had Medic Marshall in my brain sm lately. Think about it.. The most clumsy pup - aka the one most likely to get hurt and accidentally cause physical injuries to others - is the _medic_ . On an emergency/rescue team nonetheless!! The jobs gotta be never ending realistically speaking..... I imagine his frequent bumping into things, stepping on sharp objects and falling on his knees and paws repeatedly is what first taught him basic first aid. Just watching Ryder (or other medical personnel(?)) attend to his minor rashes, cuts, n bruises got him at par with standard procedure - and eventually his interest and knowledge was far built enough to really train up for the role. On an angstier note I bet he felt like he would 'finally be of more use' - i imagine Marshalls fairly insecure about how easy he ends up hurting his close ones with his clutz curse and learning how to atleast take care of the aftermath would make him feel more competent.... even if he does cause an injury - he will do everything he can to take care of them and ensure that they recover just fine.. He'd be so soft hearted, he's really trying his best out here... He cant undo or control his clumsiness but he _can_ do his best to clean up his messes, yeah? Nobody is un-cared for under Marshalls watch... 🥺💕
