I wanna post this so I have him archived forever because he's my boy... My oc Singer whom I cherish :3 bio under da cut... 🔧

Singer is a ghoul living in the Nevada desert. He's something of a mechanic, but specifically small engine repair and tinkering. He's gruff, rough around the edges and doesn't drink liquor. Even though he bites the filters off of his cigarettes, he loves to smile and belly laugh after a bad joke.

Living (?) proof sometimes ghoulification keeps you well insulated.

Being a prewar ghoul, Singer is old and constantly bemoans his aches and pains while attributing any mistakes to his old age. Sometimes, he can be short and blunt, with a habit to push people (and help) away. In spite of that, Singer is given to helping others even if it is to his own detriment. In his heart he truly tries to see the good in people, which has a tendency to draw in some strange characters.

It's unclear where he's from exactly– his own memory is fuzzy around the edges after 200 years– but before October of 2077, he was living somewhere around Boulder City working at a gas station garage. His story changes depending on who asks, but there's something about a bunker, and only lasting about a year inside with a few other colleagues from his workplace. 

By 2281, he is living in his own home in the Nevada desert; somewhere along the highway towards the City, his outpost setup in an old garage serves that purpose well. Singer runs a small fix-it business out of his home, and trades odds and ends. He has an eye for antiques, and if you'll let him, he'll keep you in his workshop for hours while he yaps away.

The state of jobs and any kind of unemployment assistance in my province is abysmal (as it is everywhere in this country), I've struggled with employment and poverty all my life. We're doing our best to have my bf move here with me, but where he's from the US, he needs a work permit. With myself being disabled, it makes finding work harder and puts a lot on him being to be our only income. My previous living situation was horrible, so we're trying to avoid having to return there or have him move back to the States.
