We're back for another year; now hosted at @sigamicentral!!

Hey all! We're happy to take this Valentine's Day to announce the return of Spring of Sigami!

Spring of Sigami 2025 will be held from April 29 (one week before Amitie's Birthday) to June 18 (Sig's Birthday) and will last just under seven weeks with one prompt each week. That means seven Spring-themed prompts to draw inspiration from!

That's right, we've cut last year's runtime in half! We're hoping this means less burnout for those joining us for the event while still giving plenty of time for everyone to work on each prompt.

Prompts are currently being submitted and considered in our Discord server in the Sigami Events channel. A full prompt list will be made available before or around the middle of April. Come join if you'd like to submit one, talk about the event, or just join the best Sigami shipping community around!

Welcome to Sigami Central's Ship or Treat!

This is a little prompt event running through the month of October where you'll 'trick or treat' for a prompt using our Ship or Treat Prompt Generator (or just refresh it until you get one you want) and make something based on it. There is no 'minimum' amount you need to do, just have fun!

The End of Spring (of Sigami)

Today is the Solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the beginning of Summer. That also means it is the end of Spring and the end of this event.

Spring of Sigami was made as a way to help heal from a traumatic event caused by a dangerous person in my life, promoting love and positivity instead harassment and abuse. Like flowers growing from the soil, we can grow out of our past.

So I would like to thank everyone who participated in the event, whether it be fics, art, talking about the current prompt in the Sigami Central Discord server, or just sharing our prompt list.

If anyone wants to respond to one of the prompts, we will still reblog it if it has the proper tags.

Thank you all so much for making Spring be a season of rebirth. Maybe we'll do something like this again another time.
