When I was shopping at Marshall’s, I was at the register and I told the cashier (mid 40s Korean woman) “I like your haircut.” She smiled as she was bagging my items and said “Thank you. A lot of young people like my haircut because it makes me look younger. You’ve made my day.” And I was shocked because, really? A simple compliment like that is enough to make someone’s day? I guess it is, so the next time you notice something positive about a person that they can change, tell them about it. It just might make their day.
