“Gosh golly, that’s gotta be the biggest body of water I’ve ever seen!” She commented, astonished.

The Universal Center of Interplanetary Communication. The name itself radiates excitement. Leaders and conquerors and heroes from all corners of the known universe all gather at the UCIC, located at the center of the universe, planet Blanc. Treaties have been made, first contact to underdeveloped planets underwent, war had been declared multiple times; all here, on these historic grounds. It was the most exciting place Marcia could think of.

Then why, on this forsaken planet, was the young Martian so dang bored?

She and her uncle were there for a conference between some of the most brilliant scientific minds in the universe. As opposed to useful things, such as time machines or some type of interplanetary destroyer, they seemed to be focused on how one puny planet in the Andromeda galaxy is somehow leaving a negative impact on the universal scientific community. Yawn.

Marcia had managed to slip out of the conference room to roam about to her own accord, becoming immersed in the cultural riches of the universe that displayed themselves at different stalls throughout the building. It was like a Sci-Fi convention, only it played out before her very eyes as a reality rather than a fantasy.

She shuffled around, carrying all sorts of foreign foods in her hands, when she received word that the famed universal protectors, the Loonatics, were here in this very building.

“Oh gee! ‘Dandy’ can’t even describe what it’d be like to meet them hep cats!” She commented aloud, scanning the area to see if she could find them.

Things just got groovy.
