Thinking about Sebastian again.

OCs again oops. (both the blue and the pink haired peeps have a crush on the daikon-haired guy and they were a year older than him in hs and had a crush then and still have a crush years later)

Sebastian (pink haired guy) is smart and competent and likes to draw and also obsessed with organizing. Not cleaning! Just! Moving things around to please himself. So having shelf access activates his inner cat cravings.

Anyway thinking of older plots I remember how much whiplash this plot had because the MAIN focus was Darotani had a classmate who had a crush on Yutatori and tried to give him a love potion. But then he tripped as Yutatori drank it so he does what everyone does, looks at whatever movement just happened (like how people naturally look to the door when it opens even if they don't care. it's the movement). So instead of the first thing him seeing being the girl who likes him, he sees Darotani and falls head over heel for him because of the love potion.

Which is fine except this is an older plot and so everything had to happen and that means Darotani was cursed and was gonna die at like 18 or something and is working for a witch part time to try and learn from her on how to break the curse? While the popular guy in his grade is fawning over him? Cause? And the girl got the potion FROM the witch Darotani works for???? Like bro it was so convoluted.

Ananza is the wind deity, though she's not the first with that honor. Originally the elder gods selected a man as their wind deity but after he witnessed Oh and Fulj being punished he requested to relinquish his role. Basically asking them for a mortal death rather than immortality. They obliged since the deities exist to help humans and a miserable deity won't do the job properly so no need to keep a deity bound to a task they don't want to do.

So Ananza was selected as a replacement. Fulj has no recollection of the first wind deity and Ananza has already been told by the fire deities that it wasn't Fulj's fault but she was the final straw for the former wind deity. So, Ananza doesn't hold any dislike towards Fulj and actually really likes listening to her talk. Ananza loves to dance and wander around her city so when Fulj stops by to visit, she listens to Fulj's adventures while they roam the city.

Because there are two fire deities and one can stay in their city while the other wanders and because Fulj no longer has a city to be focused on, the three like to visit the other cities to check in. Ohime and Ohiwe really like to visit Ananza while Fulj prefers to visit Ymber. While Ananza likes Ohiwe, Ohime, and Fulj, she really isn't fond of the ice deity or Ymber. She doesn't like to scramble for topics and ice/Ymber don't start conversations enough so it's a bother to Ananza to try forcing friendliness. She loves light hearted stories though and Fulj and the fire deities excel at that type of story.

(Ohime and Ohiwe sometimes call her Nana and on that note it's lore in the tags time)

Ohiwe (lady) and Ohime (man) aka the fire deity after they get punished.

Originally just "Oh", the fire deity had a bit too much fun with punishing humans and so in a means to stop them, the elder gods split them into two. So now they have to be together in order to have their "full" power but as before the split, they get restless and like to wander. So while one stays in their city, the other gets to go out and travel and see the world and check on the other deities.

Also, as a whole/singular being Oh would use they/them. After the split however, it's definitely not the same and so Ohiwe likes using female pronouns and Ohime uses male pronouns. That way when discussed a one, it's back to they. That feels best for them.

Lightning, water, and fire! Like forever before the plot starts. By the time the plot starts, the lightning and fire deities have been subjected to punishment by the two gods that picked them.

Oh (the fire deity) is first to be punished. They basically decide that since they're going to live for a long time, gotta set some long time goals! And they opt to be the wrath of the gods since most of the other deities are too 'soft' in their opinion. So Oh just. Smites humans. This isn't really a /good/ thing and in their defense mentally, they do it to help Ymber since he's the softest of them all. So their punishment by the gods is to be split in two, effectively halving the power of one into two. (Now they are in a male and a female body and use both male and female pronouns apart since they together make they but apart it feels weird to be they. But prior to the split they use they/them. Also the split bodies go by the names Ohiwe and Ohime.)

Fulj is the second to be punished. She falls in love with a mortal woman and that is a crime according to the gods. Mortals and immortals are not to be together and it will only bring suffering to both sides. So her punishment is her memories of the woman are stripped and her body basically broken to the point she can't remain physical all the time.

Ymber, unfortunately, is the one who blames himself for the discoveries and punishments. If he had only tried to restrain Oh more then maybe they would have chilled out and stopped before being punished. If he had only tried to persuade Fulj to not continue seeing the mortal woman so often perhaps she wouldn't have been punished. So he's just increasing the guilt on his shoulders every day that he remains unpunished since the elder gods have both laid down to rest. They can't enforce their laws anymore and none of the deities are keen on harming one another at this point. They just want to continue existing in peace.

Whenever she wants to talk to him, she must start with "Ren" and he always interrupts with a "Rin" to balance it. That's just how they have to talk it's fine.

Marin is just the town's cat. She can be found lounging about in the sun and knocking stuff off of roofs (it's not her fault if you put stuff that high up). She arrived in the town on her second life and then just. Opted to never leave. She gives a lot of people nicknames (such as Ren is Renke to everyone else and he will throw a punch if anyone else tries calling him Ren)... and despite her willingness to help people, she is very respectful of secrets. If she sees things she shouldn't "know" then that's fine, she won't tell anyone. So everyone in town lets her do whatever and wherever she wants.

They are such a cocky lil shit but when they lose an arm the ponytail upkeep is too much and they revert back to short hair (and also fall into the criminal life very fast and happily).

I'm doing a silly little tier list for how this cast would die in DND and yeah.... making little icons for them (probably need to edit Paul's a smidge). And since Right, Brent, and Paul are all simply there to support Karen they all have the little flourishes of stars because she wanted them and the boys are just "it's thematic and supportive" and she is DELIGHTED.

Hot bartender would be roped into the ordeal by Paul because he simply cannot say no to his funky lil blonde crush (it's a problem).

New OCs

(briefly, humans and supernatural beings have to team up for building better relations with each other and all the supernaturals can shapeshift and take on human appearances but also have their 'original form'.)

OK so I was GOING to draw fanart today - I had a fun idea and everything! But health anxiety (and anti-anxiety meds) wore me out so I kinda .... slogged through OCs as a treat to me. I am going to go to the doctor tomorrow so HOPEFULLY it's all okay.

OC RNG stuff.

-Lucinda is engaged to the oldest prince in a family of nine where there are 8 brothers and then the youngest is the only girl. She adores her future husband. -Ink Blot is a really dumb mage who acts as a street performer using fake magic despite being an actual mage. He just wants to be the center of attention. -Ruby and Luce are from the same plot (thank you RNG I love the dream wardens). They're part of different pairs and basically just patrol to keep dreams in check. Ruby and Luce also don't really meet each other in canon. Their routes don't overlap but they both interact with the main duo which is Colette and Marcus. (Ruby wants to beat Marcus up while Luce wants to kiss Marcus for what it matters.)

I was looking at my older plot folders and I can't believe I forgot how funny Louis was. He also had a shirt that said "Friendly Pessimist" which sums him up.

I'm so normal about side characters in my plot. So normal about the really awkward virgin bartender who I refuse to name at this point. He is just The Hot Bartender.

Girl is the daughter to some famous guy and he loves her so so so so so so much and doesn't want her to be involved in fame and scandals. So he hires a bodyguard for her so that she can have some freedom and also NOT be seen with him. And bodyguard is just super chill with the man's gushing and doesn't originally try super hard to befriend the girl. It's a job and he just needs her safe and outta the spotlight.

It's going pretty well and is all fine until his friend shows up. Who looks really angy. And glares a lot. So she assumes this friend is just a punk and the bodyguard is like "oh he's nice. he just looks like that when he's nervous."

So when the bodyguard is like "ok i gotta go talk with your dad meaning I can't walk with you to school but I got permission to let my friend walk with you" and she's like okay. I understand. I'm resigned to my fate of never being independent. And then when the guy is like "I need proof or your dad will kill me" and she agrees, HE BEAMS BECAUSE HE GETS TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY. And he shows her the picture and is like "before I send it, this okay with you?" and she nods. She's never seen him smile like that. Huh.

And now the girl has her very loving dad, her loving mom, her protective and kind bodyguard and his weird (boy)friend. And so she has two separate groups of people that love her and she's really happy.
