Hello! My brain is filled with caregiver Akito right now so I was wondering if I could ask for some caregiver Akito Headcanons!

- I think Akito is a little bit awkward at first, but once he gets used to it, he's a really good cg!!

- He's a little embarrassed admitting it, but he can't help but find it so cute when people regress!! It makes him feel a little giddy, and he gets super sentimental and happy that they trust him so much <3 Of course, stubborn as he is, he tries not to show it too much, but he's definitely affectionate (waaay more than usual) and compliments his littles a lot!

- The main littles he caregives for are Toya and Kohane, as well as sometimes An, Ena, Mizuki, or Airi! There's even been an occasion where he cg'd for Emu for a little bit; that one was a little difficult for him, but he tried his best?

- He keeps at least one piece of little gear in his room for each of them, just in case they need it! He also keeps everything a little has ever given him; friendship bracelets from Kohane, drawings and coloring pages from Ena... they make him smile every time he sees them, he's a lil sappy <3

- He can be a little protective, especially when littles are more outgoing; he's always watching carefully to make sure they're safe! He insists on holding hands when crossing streets or in crowded places like stores, and is always vigilant when playing outside!

- He loves to spoil them, and isn't one for rules or being strict; he just wants them to have fun and be happy. He buys or makes snacks for them all the time!!

♡ AGE REGRESSOR - Toya Aoyagi, Akito Shinonome, Shizuku Hinomori and Haruka Kiritani x Reader

Toya:

Toya is kind of new to the concept, but he picks up being a caregiver pretty easily!

Whenever he notices you're about to regress, he kind of panics, but he tries to ask you what you want to do about it

He's definitely the type to plan out a kit just for you, filling it with everything you mention you like when regressed

Unless you're the type of little who cannot stay still, he likes to sit with you and read you a bunch of stories

He might be a bit awkward with it at times, not knowing if his bluntness translates well, but he's doing his best for you <3

"Hey, my dear...Are you alright? Can I get you anything?"

Akito:

Akito is incredibly unsure of himself as a caregiver, but he tries his best!

Admittedly, it takes him a bit to recognize the signs when you're regressing. Once he learns them though, he's quick to act

He has a bunch of things he's gathered that reminds him of you, and he brings them all out when you regress

He absolutely entertains you however he can, from making you little outfits to beat boxing to even making pancakes for you!

Even if he can be gruff, he's really caring to the people he loves, so he makes sure that you're nice and safe in his care <3

"Oy, careful with that! I don't want you getting hurt on my watch-"

Shizuku:

Shizuku is definitely one of, if not the best caregiver on this list!

She always has a sort of sense for whenever you're going to regress, and is very quick to coddle and baby you

She's incredibly affectionate, and always makes sure to keep a plushie or something else on hand just for you!

She dotes on you so much, you're literally never getting out of her arms for as long as you're regressed

She's a big sister at heart, and will always cuddle and kiss you, regressed or not, any chance she can! <3

"Awww, my little love!! You're just so adorable, I could hold you all day!"

Haruka:

While Shizuku is an incredible caregiver, Haruka is very close behind!

She may not notice when she herself has problems, but the moment you start to regress, she helps you out immediately

She is absolutely more than willing to keep anything for littles that are penguin themed just for you, they're a staple in her bag!

She doesn't really allow herself to have many hobbies, so she's more than fine just following whatever your little self wants

She is definitely a very dedicated and caring person, so you can expect her to give her all while caring for you! <3

"Ah, we're all small today, hm? That's okay, I'm right here, love!"

i hate to admit it but my friends make me feel so little..id never tell them (hell they probably dont know what regression is) but just earlier i went to a musical that my friend had a role in and i was right on the edge of regressing (given if there wasnt a baby crying i wouldve) and the small exceptions between my friends (because im simply nicer) and theyd never know this unless i tell them but i really do enjoy their company it makes me feel safe and tiny :D

Thinking about the Wonderland Sekai virtual singers, they'd be such good CGs and playmates ooagh-

Miku playing with the WxS kids while they're feeling little! Taking them on all the rides in the Sekai, singing to them, coming up with little shows to put on for or with them!

Kaito's obvious, I mean, look at this dang 4koma:

The CG ever, he's perfect for the job. Watching over them if they come over to have a little playdate in the Sekai, comforting and talking to them if they're down or something's on their minds, keeping them out of trouble (he's probably the only virtual singer that can resist their attempts and puppy-dog eyes).

Rin and Len would probably feel oddly responsible while taking care of them. They're used to being the youngest, now they've gotta be the best big siblings ever! They always have new games to play with their little ones, and they'd do anything to make them smile! (I'm sorta thinking about how they helped Emu out during Smile of a Dreamer tbh-)

Meiko's so very CG-coded too! She's literally picked Miku up and tossed her in the air like a baby before! So very cuddly with her little ones, constantly carrying them and such, making sure they're always safe and smiling!

Luka's not as chaotic as the others, but she's still quite good with the littles. Once they finally get all tuckered out after playing, she'll get them some warm milk or a paci, and tuck them in for a nice cozy nap. If someone's feeling overstimulated or anything, she's the best at calming them down and bringing them back down to Earth.

Kaito, Meiko, and Luka are more like parental figures, while Miku and the twins are kind of like siblings. The six of them sometimes write shows just for when the WxS kids are little, and they definitely have a big supply of any and all little gear they could need!

Anyways all of WxS deserve to be little, and they have some of the most world-class CGs in the universe!

what song(s) do you associate with your regression/taking care of a little? if you dont have one but want to answer the question a song you listen to a lot during the time your little/caregiving.

i wanna make a spotify playlist with a bunch of music that people associate with themself with being a part of the community.

crayonfic is soso cute :DD i think (as a agere writer myself) crossposting on the Age Regression/De-Aging and either (or both) of those tags would be a somewhat more effective way to change tags. and i think its a good idea to change tags as well. for fandoms that dont have many agere fics, youre more likely to find de-aging and nsfw.

for example: project sekai, there is 16 works under that tag. 9 of which are agere (which isnt bad) theres the 2 or 3 de-aging and 2 nsfw de-aging. personally it makes me uncomfortable to see this when i use fanfics to help regress.

just my input though!!

Possible New AO3 Tags!!

So, I think we all know that the ao3 tag situation is...not ideal. You have basically two choices for tags: Age Regression/De-aging (which is technically meant for physically regressed/de-aged characters, not agere) or Non-sexual Age Play (which is...the wrong thing). Both of these tags are inaccurate for our community, but we have used them because its as close as we can get. It's even gotten to the point where Age Regression/De-aging has wrangled everything under the sun for agere (agere, age regression, regression, and every tag we make complaining about our tag situation). So! I have two possibilities for new tags we can use!

🧸Inner Child Therapy🧸

this one is probably the most obvious choice? at least it is to me lol inner child therapy is another, more clinical name for agere, so it would be a good choice. it's also not currently used for anything on ao3 (Healing the Inner Child is a tag, but not currently one with more than i think 3 fics, and it's not a common tag, so it would more than likely get wrangled, but I think it'd be okay)

with this one, we would also have the option to use secondary tags like we use with Age Regression/De-aging currently (think how a lot of fics use "Age Regression Little [Character]" tags, we could use something like "Inner Child Little [Character]" instead)

i think inner child therapy as a term would also help with the stigma around agere because it really...can't be confused with anything else? not as far as i can make out anyway lol

a con toward this would be that not many ppl currently know this as a term, and therefore it would be hard to implement

i just think this one is cute. like we're all just out here writing our fics in crayon to share with each other hehe

in my head, this would even be able to include a whole tagging system using diff crayon colors to mean different things (when i was thinking of this concept, i was thinking along the lines of pink crayon = fluff, blue = angst, green = whump, purple = romantic, orange = platonic, white = diapers, etc etc etc etc)

it just so cute in my head lol, and it would definitely be easy to separate from the current tags

a con toward this one is just that it could be confusing to try to implement and i could see it getting wildly out of hand and complicated if we aren't careful with it

No matter what, it will absolutely be a struggle to change tags to get away from what we have right now. In order for any sort of new tag, one of these or something else, to work we would all have to agree not to crosstag. When tagging fics, you would *not* be able to tag it with the old tags and one of the new ones because it would more than likely result in the new tag getting wrangled and then we're back to square one. It would have to be a community effort to get it explained *why* things are different, now, and how to find fics. It would also be a struggle to get authors of older works to maybe switch their tags out so that new readers can find them more easily under a new tag.

These are just my ideas, and I'd love to open the discussion up to you guys!! If there's any other ideas for tags, I'd love to hear them!!!

Pumpkaboo's Akito regression headcanons!!

-Okay hear me out,,, I get pet regression vibes actually? Like, I think Akito is definitely a lil puppy boi UwU

-I definitely think for the longest time, he didn't really understand or know about his regression; he had no idea what to call it and never told anyone about it (although I feel like Ena may have had sneaking suspicions that she kept to herself)

-He definitely sort of ignored/faked through his moments of regression in the past, never really indulged them

-It was pure coincidence that he found something online explaining different types of regression, and he started to connect the dots

-He refused to admit it even to himself at first, but gradually caved and realized that yes, he regresses, even if he's strangely ashamed of it

-This boy is starved for physical affection; if Toya holds his hand, or Kohane gives him a hug, he immediately feels like he's gonna melt

-Eventually he decides to tell Toya about it, and it makes Toya incredibly happy he was brave enough to tell him; he tries his best to take care of Akito if he sees him slipping

-Not like Akito particularly needs to be cared for, he can definitely still function fine on his own, but as stated before, he adores the affection, and Toya thinks he's extremely cute when he's regressed

-After a while, all of Vivid Bad Squad has caught on, although An and Kohane won't mention anything about it until Akito tells them himself

-Once he finally allows himself to indulge properly in his regression, it becomes pretty obvious that it leans pretty heavy into puppy regression

-He doesn't talk as much as usual when he regresses, mostly just making various noises, or an occasional couple of words

-He either gets really energetic, or really sleepy, there is no in between

-Needs a lot of stimulation and gets bored super easy; even when he's sleepy he insists on putting something on the tv or his phone to "watch" (he absolutely doesn't watch it, he just starts snoring)

-Really likes to spend time outside when regressed, and likes playing around like a kid!

-Has definitely had impromptu games of tag with the entirety of Vivid Bad Squad (he almost always wins; Tag Master)

-Plays lots of other games with VBS; hide n seek, the floor is lava, one they simply call The Arena (it's kind of just gladiator fighting inside of a trampoline, Kohane usually sits this one out LOL)

-He lives for headpats and for taking naps in somebody's lap (especially if he's napping right after running around n wearing himself out, those are the Best naps)

-He also buys himself one of those chewy necklaces cuz he realizes that he'll bite his nails or the ends of his sleeves when he regresses

-He winds up with several other kinds of fidget toys gifted to him as well; he loves them even when he isn't regressed, but especially when he is!

I'm kind of runnin out of ideas but! Thank u for the ask!! <3
