Happy pride month ! today i present to you ; the very first ocs i ever made , from middle school

their names are Bronwyn (tall lady AKA Iris) and Benito (or benji) (freak bastard autistic nightmare)

they are from a story i titled Elysian, made an written as i was aged approximately 13. the story follows a schizophrenic handmaid Benito , convinced she is a prince in disguise , and Lady Bronwyn , a knight appointed to protect the prince . ( Benito also thinks Bronwyn is her conscious come to fruition , but only sometimes )

Bronwyn is the half-brother to a deity named Amaris. Amaris decides the most brutal punishment is forcing Bronwyn into godhood. looking into his pupils would cause a person to go insane with devotion to a faith he rules

Benito doesn’t know the entirety of this curse thang and just thinks looking into his eyes will make her immune to death . and they are crazy yuri 🙏

Genshin yaoi has driven me places I'd previously never consider entering with a gun. I'm enjoying myself. Thus, take my Kaveh and Alhaitham HC designs… brownification city! As always!

Design reasoning under the cut.

Starting with Kaveh! My whole thing with him was keeping him feeling sharper compared to Alhaitham, with softer shapes coming to defined points. I think most of it is pretty self-explanatory from the picture, but y'know. Direction was also fun to consider with Kaveh, with the repetitive use of shapes going upwards and downwards in his face. :3 An angular guy! He's someone who cares about keeping up appearances a lot, so he's designed as someone who takes care to maintain clear skin and nice makeup. His eyes are also very deep set, especially compared to Alhaitham. Contrast between the two of them with mirrored elements was the main goal. I really couldn't think of much aside from that, especially since going for the outfits was an entirely different beast.

Next is Alhaitham! Alhaitham's meant to feel blunt, but less cutting compared to Kaveh, like the difference between a claymore and sword, I guess. I didn't think of this comparison at the time, but it's funny. Especially as the weapon comparisons are inverted from what they use. (PROBABLY! I HAVEN'T MET EITHER IN GAME YET!) His shapes are stronger and more square-ish compared to the Kaveh's triangular shit. Most of his features aren't nearly as upturned, and he's softer overall. Y'know when BL characters have absurd lips? Yeah, that was the justification there. He's kissable, and his tits are fat. What more could you want from a man? /j The moles and hyperpigmentation were just choices I thought were cute. I never see hyperpigmentation depicted in art! While it's minor here, it's the thought that counts.

Other notes are skin tone, of course. They're both brown. As a desi guy, I couldn't leave the [all that] of Sumeru alone. <3 Kaveh is darker than Alhaitham, and I thought a cooler skin tone contrasted with his hair and outfit nicely. (Same with warm-toned Alhaitham, it goes so nicely with the jewel blues and greens.) There's this weird dichotomy with Alhaitham as the burly brown guy top and. Kaveh white twink which I'm NOT subscribing to, thank you very much. Also why Kaveh got a larger nose! I think it suits him, and I'm also not a fan of the way I see artists draw exclusively hooked noses as the definitive nose that all brown people have. Honestly, I should have considered body hair for them as well, but I didn't want to think about the natural colours lol… Face HCs are my favourite thing to draw, and if you've gotten to reading this far, I thank you.

just got a weak-ass non-reponse from one of my senators in response to the pathetic pleading our stupid fucking system forces me to have to do to stop our tax dollars from being used to murder 10,000 civilians (and counting) so out of spite here’s a handy tip for folks in the us who keep getting told to call their reps and hate the phone:

when it comes to contacting your representatives, emails are better than nothing and phone calls answered by a person do have an effect, but another hard-to-ignore way to send a message is to send a letter that politicians and their staffers have to physically handle in order to address and physically dispose of in order to ignore its contents—or, just as good as a letter, a good old-fashioned fax

i’ve been using faxzero.com. it has pages that link to pre-populated forms to directly fax your senators, congressional representatives, and governors. you can send five faxes a day for free, and if enough people do that our representatives’ offices could be filled with an obnoxious volume of paper faxes begging them to stop funding mass murder

i know a lot of leftists have mixed feelings on contacting representatives at best. personally, i hate it and usually find it a humiliating waste of political energy better spent elsewhere. however, getting politicians onboard is the fastest way to get the bombings to stop and any indignity is worth enduring if it stops the slaughter still going on as i write this. and for real, it’s easy and occasionally a little cathartic. so, please, for the sake of the millions still left in gaza, flood your shitty senator’s office until they can’t ignore us anymore

IM FINALLY MAKING OC LORE POST YALL BETTER HYPE ME UP. Starting with explaining the premise of the main antagonist in my story, Pandemonium. Once you know his whole thing My others characters will make much more sense. heres an ref of him for newcomers

Anyways into the lore mines.

Trickster God of Mischief, Deception, and Illusions. It oversees all mortal affairs concerning these domains. Pandemonium was created for the purpose of spreading entertainment and surprise to mortals. However, he quickly grew bored of this task and sought to create entertainment only for himself, rather than for the mortals he was created for.

He began to make deals with mortals, or as he calls them, “Stories.” He would prey on mortals in vulnerable situations, promising them solutions. But the deals were always rigged. Through illusions and lies, he set them up in ways where the deal maker was bound to fail.

He called these deals stories, because of the effort he put into each one. He was creating storylines. Pandemoniums goal isn’t how many people he can trick, but how grand he could do it. In some situations it even lead to him creating Entire Illusioned worlds for the deal maker to be tricked in. (This will be a bit clearer once i explain the premise of some of the deals hes already made..)

When a deal is broken or failed, Pandemonium turns them into his puppets. (puppets are always dressed in clown/jester attire, no matter the previous aesthetic. mortals are his court jesters lmfao)

how his puppets curse works:

He stores their souls in mind prisons, the mind prisons reflect the person and their traumas. There is a “window” to the eyes in all of them, so the puppeted person can still see through their own eyes. (If you try to close your eyes in the mind prison to look away, you start seeing out of your Actual Eyes. There is No Escape.) Puppets are still capable of feeling pain inflicted to their bodies. Pandemonium thrives off pain, and torments his puppets to no end. What are they gonna do it about it. Say something? The puppets can still talk to an extent, but he filters out and silences anything he Doesn’t Want to hear, so a lot of mortals just give up on trying. They are just toys to him now. And toys can always be put back together no matter how many times you break them.

other random stuff:

Pandemonium has a storage room for all his puppets when he’s not playing with them. Its a long, infinite (aka you could just keep going Up or Down forever.) cylinder shaped room. Along the walls are stairs that twist and turn and quite frankly Don’t Make Sense. In the hollow center of this room, cabinet’s float. There is a cabinet for each puppet, and they r personalized to the mortal. Some of the puppets who have been long forgotten have probably been floating around in this room for years. Yayyy.

I have a small drawing but erm its a bit old and i never finished it. all those boxes r suppose to be cabinets lmfao
