Been playing Magic: The Gathering recently for the first time in ever (I’ve played 3 games so far using some LotR decks)

On my most recent game I amassed 10 bread and ate most of it with Sanguine Bond active to deal a bunch of damage

This was a pretty decent play for someone just learning the game (I think)

And then one of my friends dealt a humbling 75 damage to another of our friends, and a horrifying 88 damage to me later on

It’s like walking into a boss chamber, proud of your new sword, only for it to be shattered with your bones by a superboss 10 times your level

10/10 would recommend

- He peaces out and lets you just summon him again

It’d be really cool if dying to him on hardcore difficulty actually triggered a bad ending, though I’m not sure what it’d be
