This might be a bit out of left field, but do you have any Moshang fic recs? I’m in love with basically every comic or picture of them you draw and I want to know if you have/know any of the good stuff.

They’re actually surprisingly hard to find.

Yeah I have a bunch! Good taste is subjective but I hope you'll find something from this pile that you like.

Lets get the obvious one out of the way! Which includes literally anything by Tossawary! Their Pride Is Not The World I'm Looking For has been the one thing that's influenced my read on Shang Qinghua (I like this author so much that I got into bookbinding because I NEED to have physical copies for myself ahjahagahjgd). If you like my version of sqh, well... this is where that version came from mostly.

Avoiding Execution and Other Romantic Lies by MysteryTeacup Words: 62,143 Mobei-Jun blurts out that him and Shang Qinhua are lovers and now the An Ding peak lord has to construct a whole fake dating history for them. It's been a while since I read this so I wish I could give an actual review.... But this is in my bookmarks for a reason.

Cold Hands, Warm Heart by Zizzani Words: 16,274 Mobei-Jun learns about frostbite! Very cool! Not so cool for Shang Qinghua who has to explain what the stages of frostbite are while its happening to him... Has a schrodingers cat joke that was very memorable. If you like sappy and dramatic shit this one is for you.

common fellows by tagteamme Words: 4,254 Shang Qinghua finds out that someone is writing porn of him and his king. But the problem is... he doesn't know the author! Who the hell is writing this shit?!?!? What if Mobei-Jun finds out!!! I put a note on this that said "So funny i actually was fighting for my life" so that pretty much sums it up hahahahaha

drunk and disorderly by sarahyyy Words: 5,105 Shang Qinghua has a one night stand with his new boss, Mobei-Jun, and goes as horribly as one would expect. Comedy ensues. I am not a big proponent of Modern AU for svsss, but I did enjoy this one for its writing. I put it down as funny in my notes and I did bookmark it so I do recommend it.

bereft, bestowed by sixthmoon (seventhstar) Words: 3,245 A short one! Mobei-Jun is not interested in his suitors so Shang Qinghua proposes he set up a task for anyone who wishes for his hand in marriage. Very cute and fun.

Just Like The Dark by therealandraste Words: 6,812 Shang Qinghua has decided that his romantic feelings toward his king will never be returned, so might as well learn to accept that... But is that really the truth of things? I noted that "I liked how prickly shq was in this", so you can expect characterization that I absolutely vibe with.

(Still) Here by KotoneChou Words: 7,108 I noted that this had a really good fight scene. I like fight scenes. Moshang is there too but..... fight scenes and drama.....

Foretold by the gods by Asuka Kureru (Askerian) Words: 1,879 Most of this is Airplane freaking the fuck out and Mobei-jun going "we are married now". Absolutely delightful writing. God this is funny...

Joie de Vivre by ino Words: 13,051 Mobei-Jun's and Shang Qinghua's first meeting goes a bit differently... I don't have any notes on this and thus lament being unable to give a proper review. However, I trust past me that there is a reason I bookmarked this. This fic has my favorite tag however, which is "competent Shang Qinghua".

An Ding Master's Introduction to the Design of Sacred Places by Seiraheron Words: 132,695 INCOMPLETE Want something bigger to chew on? Well, heres an incomplete fic! Which is still very long but if you dont like cliffhangers that will probably never get resolved maybe skip out on this one. The only note i have for this is "Yes. Good." which... sounds promising...

You really dont? by Reisei Words: 5,040 Left a note "Good shq characterization. Lighting an incense stick for him". I think that tells you all you need to know!

so you have a bad day by tagteamme Words: 30,999 Shang Qinghua has a bad day and when he goes out on a much needed vacation he gets kidnapped! I just... oh this is incredibly funny. I've re-read this a few times actually! The ending is incredibly satisfying!

Twighlight sleep, waking nightmares by droogproxy Words: 6,111 Mobei-Jun gets tortured by Huan Hua's deciples. I left a note that read "probably the most explicit shit without any actual porn". This is a great read and actually very funny and cute despite the setup.

Welcome to my mad delusion by EllsKay Words: 26,697 HARDCORE. SO FUCKING HARDCORE. Shang Qinghua gets posessed and goes mad. It is a delightful read for those who like getting their brain scrambled.

The last two books in the once upon a twist series don’t exist.. they were cancelled or only a few copies were made (and those who have them aren’t saying anything). Today’s Adventure is that I, after an unintentional 13-hour power nap,

Got woken up at 6AM by a phone call from a friend stranded in Montana because of the heat wave and almost no cell service because of their crap provider.

I somehow summon a week’s worth of spoons and in less than 30 minutes and 5 phone calls, get them

A hotel

An appointment with a mechanic from 2 states away

A perscription refilled from 2 states away

and A Pizza

Go me.

But then it’s 8AM and there are unscheduled live humans at the door and while EVERGENCY MODE is still on, I have already blown through a ton of spoons, and also probably shouldn’t meet whoever it is wearing just a pair of bootyshorts that say “CRYPTID” in Gothic Font on my ass.

So I greet them in those shorts and a T-shirt that I manage to put on both inside out and backwards

it is, Unfortunately, two UPS guys trying to deliver my other in-house friend’s new phone except the new guy doesn’t know how to operate the “sign for package” device, and the old guy that’s supposed to be mentoring him is like, 92, deaf as a post, and doesn’t actually know how to operate the device either.

when i get back inside, i discover that apparently the Corgi has learned how to open his kennel from the inside because he is now out of the kennel and waiting for me to come in.

he also has cat litter all over his face because while he was waiting for me he also learned how to open the baby gate to the cat’s room and help himself to a cat shit breakfast.

He’ll be fine

He’s a cattle dog, they’re legally required to have at least 1 really disgusting snack they love.

Hey so I still see people utterly baffled by how religious fundies (still a majority in America and moreso its senate) react on certain issues so uhhh is it actually not common knowledge what the antichrist is all about? You guys know his defining characteristic is ending war, right? That he’s foretold to unite the world under his leadership by preaching global peace and solving basically every single problem in the world? So you know when you try to talk to these people about equality and togetherness they literally believe that’s what makes you an agent of the devil right???

Things that will make your computer meaningfully faster:

Replacing a HDD with an SSD

Adding RAM

Graphics cards if you're nasty

Uninstalling resource hogs like Norton or McAfee (if you're using Windows then the built-in Windows Security is perfectly fine; if you're using a mac consider bitdefender as a free antivirus or eset as a less resource intensive paid option)

Customizing what runs on startup for your computer

Things that are likely to make internet browsing specifically meaningfully faster:

Installing firefox and setting it up with ublock origin

adding the Auto Tab Discard extension to firefox to sleep unused tabs so that they aren't constantly reloading

Closing some fucking tabs bud I'm sorry I know it hurts I'm guilty of this too

Things that will make your computer faster if you are actually having a problem:

Running malwarebytes and shutting down any malicious programs it finds.

Correcting disk utilization errors

Things that will make your computer superficially faster and may slightly improve your user experience temporarily:

Clearing cache and cookies on your browser

Restarting the computer

Changing your screen resolution

Uninstalling unused browser extensions

Things that do not actually make your computer faster:

Deleting files

Registry cleaners

Defragging your drive

Passively wishing that your computer was faster instead of actually just adding more fucking RAM.

ok im searching for this specific zhongchi fic i read a while ago- its post gnosis reveal but something happens and childe is transported back in time (to the archon war). he ends up either finding morax or being found by the yakshas. he is distrusted by them due to his abyss vibes or smth, eventually him and morax fall in love. something something he ends up back in the present day and they (zhongli+adepti) have to fight azdaha and theyre loosing but childe shows up and turns the tide and zhongli and the adepti all realize he now remembers and its a happy ending.
