Most of my posts are about Remmick, but my favorite character was actually Delta Slim, and people are definitely not talking about him enough

Delroy Lindo played this character amazingly. He was a comedic relief without it feeling very out of place which is a pet peeve I have with movies. A lot of movies have someone as a comedic relief (which isn’t the issue) but they’re usually very unrealistic and unnatural a lot of the time

You can also see how good of a person he is, especially when he was encouraging the men who were working while they were driving through the fields and then sacrificing himself so Sammie, someone he didn’t even know until that day, could escape and live.

People don’t talk about that enough and I really think Sammie wouldn’t have survived without Delta Slim, because Smoke, Sammie and Pearline (am I missing someone else from that scene?) could barely fight off Remmick alone, imagine ALL the other vampires on top of that

Ok, so I finally figured out why Remmick's outfit was so awkward -- the pants are too high-waisted for his height and frame.

And then I realized they are Bert's who is a good 3 inches taller.

I saw your tags on your art about Ballerina! I felt the timeline was weird too. Where do you think it fell between?

My theory is that John went to Hallstatt after the events of JW3 and before the start of JW4:

In Ballerina, I noticed a few things: John has no facial injuries and is already missing his ring finger. In JW3, he's seen throughout the movie with cuts on his face, so it can't be during that time. By the start of JW4, his face is healed.

So it must have taken place between JW3 and JW4, specifically after he recovers from the fall and before he goes to kill the Elder, since later the Marquis destroys the Continental and kills Charon (both are present in Ballerina)

The only inconsistencies in Ballerina: - I didn’t see any wounds or scars on the Director’s hands. - The Director still conducts business with John after tearing his ticket.

Let me just say this: there’s no way yall think people shipping Sammie and Remmick is bigger than the program. As a FULLY black woman, I agree that yt people get outta pocket with ships and fandom in general. But trying to demonize folks that wanted to explore a dark romance, yaoi, taboo type of ship?? Half of the ships on AO3 are based on that, with many other problematic tags. Yall are obviously new to fandom spaces if sammick ruffles y’all’s feathers. Crossovers, ships for people who’ve never even met in canon, exist. Bc FICTION is whatever you want reality to be. Grow up and go back to wattpad fr, im irritated seeing people complain like children over this.
