HOMESTEADING. I also have subaccounts of staneclectic which is largely politics, stanfave which is largely nature with an emphasis on water, stanfave2 which is largely urban, stanfave3-772217 which is truly eclectic with emphasis on closeups, and stanfave8-1-17 which is largely spiritual, as well as stephanieo85, which is all things eros including tasteful artistic nudes..

Song Review: Punch Brothers - “Cattle in the Cane”
No words. Just music. Bluegrass music. With the Punch Brothers’ unique twist.
It’s “Cattle in the Cane” - single No. 4 ahead of the Jan. 14, 2022, release of Hell on Church Street, on which the musical Brothers reimagine Tony Rice’s Church Street Blues.
The execution is flawless, though the instrumental goads the Punches into veering into the near-formlessness that can hamper their work. But it doesn’t obscure the fact them boys can play.
Grade card: Punch Brothers - “Cattle in the Cane” - B-

Song Review(s): Hawktail - “Dandelion” -> “Unless” and “Padiddle” (Live, July 22, 2021)
It took two years for Hawktail’s performance of “Dandelion” -> “Unless” and “Padiddle” to make it to unofficial release. And it was worth every day of waiting.
Captured on stellar-quality amateur video July 22, 2021, in New Hampshire, the triad of tunes demonstrates this quartet’s ability to sound like a lot of things while simultaneously soundly like only Hawktail.
Consisting of Brittany Haas’ fiddle, Paul Kowert’s bass, Jordan Tice’s guitar and Dominick Leslie’s mandolin, Hawktail’s music is familiar but unique. Old-timey, yet contemporary.
Like all of Hawktail’s songbook, these numbers are instrumental. They’re classical and bluegrass. Fast and slow. Loud and quiet. American and Irish. And a wee bit jazzy to boot.
“Dandelion” -> “Unless” and “Padiddle” are like a lot of things. Yet, they’re like nothing else.
Grade card: Hawktail - “Dandelion” -> “Unless” and “Padiddle” (Live 7/22/21) - A/A/A

The Friendly Tree
"I've found a place beside a friendly tree, Where I'll hide my face when the world hurts me, For the tree will never hurt; I shall love it to the end; It shall have a dear, dear name: "My true and silent friend." by Annette Wynne
