hi guys i can't sleep so in consideration of it being a-level (british scary exams) season (thank god i finished last week) here are all of the danganronpa characters and what a levels i think they would take and a general gist of how theyd thrive in a british college/sixth form. i'm sorry in advance, some of these takes are purely based on vibes. i am also imagining a college/sixth form au and i hate it.

DANGANRONPA: TRIGGER HAPPY HAVOC

sayaka maizono

~ music, dance, media studies: i really imagine her being someone who gets like b grades but she spends loads of time in the study spaces w her friends. if she has to wear uniform she's constantly doing her own little thing with it. i love sayaka maizono guys :)))

leon kuwata

- sport, music (failing), business studies: this guy ONLY JUST flies under the radar when it comes to falling behind really badly. i deadass imagine he rocked up on the first day already missing all his equipment.

chihiro fujisaki

- IT, computing, maths, graphics: they definitely do 4 A-Levels (most places typically do 3 for my international friends!!) and spend most of their time in the study spaces. is sometimes somehow lumped into the y7s mondo terrorizes.

mondo owada

- engineering, physics, maths: i actually think lowkey he'd do pretty well at sixth form, he'd just never turn in homework or anything. one of those people that do really, unusually well in exams. he does terrorize year sevens though that's canon

kiyotaka ishimaru

- politics, physics, maths, further maths: another guy who takes 4 a levels. nerd. real talk we know this guy's pretty smart, i know he wouldn't fuck about with prefecting/student president 😭😭. also defends year 7s with his life (gets called a melt)

hifumi yamada

- film studies, english language, philosophy: lowkey this is one based on vibes. film could be interchangeable with either graphics or english literature (different from language, literature covers books and poetry whereas language focuses more on nonfiction. and the actual breaking down of language!!) but i'm biased bc i did film studies :')

celestia ludenberg

- history, philosophy, french: fun fact i actually struggled the most with this one. her ass is at like 65% in attendance but she's still somehow maintaining good grades.

sakura ogami

- sports, chemistry, english language: oh sakura how i love you. she's defo one of those students that terrifies all the y7s but she's lovely (telling them directions, holding places in the lunch line etc). not exactly well known but well liked if ygm!! i couldn't see her doing anything too humanities based though

mukuro ikusaba

- psychology, sports, geography: once again based on vibes. worst attendance, mixed bag grades, when she is seen i unfortunately get the vibes she's barked at abit (most likely by her sister).

junko enoshima

- psychology, textiles, film studies: every day i thank god junko enoshima was not british. i fear if she was british she'd be a chav. nothing wrong with chavs, i was one, but she definitely barks at people. probably didn't mentally age out of secondary school either methinks.. film studies is probably interchangeable with something idk. drama, probably!

aoi asahina

- sports, sociology, media studies: asahina is that girl, i imagine college is where she absolutely thrives, good grades and attendance, but does forget her homework/her lanyard sometimes. wonderful to year 7s, i imagine she's that girl that has EVERYTHING in her bag

kyoko kirigiri

- criminology, sociology, psychology, law: honestly are we surprised she takes 4 a levels she gets straight a* type grades, future oxbridge student. probably on some student council as well alongside taka and naegi

yasuhiro hagakure

- philosophy, religious studies, media studies (be so fr hes not passing shit): retook first year/y12 because he was failing. is still failing. it's okay though because we love hagakure in this function

makoto naegi

- english literature, film studies, geography: this is PURELY off of vibes he just seems like the type to really enjoy coursework based a levels, he did not fuck abt with his film studies work at all. defo his teachers' favorites, but is somehow always late to class

byakuya togami

- maths, politics, psychology, law: he takes 4. it's his punishment for existing. i couldn't see him doing anything too sciency so i tried to find a balance. either has flawless attendance or 60% no inbetween. brings his own hand sanitizer, probably one of those odd people who still wear masks 5 years on

toko fukawa

- fine art, criminology, english literature and english language: she does 4 a levels this is canon to me. she does pretty decent in them all but probably doesn't hand in her coursework for art on time (i'm projecting pls hand your things in guys)

i might do the other two games if ppl appreciate this. pls debate and share headcanons i beg.
