After reading "The Man with the Compound Eyes" by Wu Ming-Yi I've become more and more aware of how much trash we generate each day. This is a representation of a Christmas wreath made by trash I gathered during the holiday period - packagings, craft materials, product tags, batteries, plastic trays, strings, food waste and of course there are so much more that I didn't show in this photo. Our everyday choices are having huge impacts on the environment so I promise myself to be more conscious about my actions each day and hope for a teeny tiny better 2016.
