Sometimes when I look at TFP Soundwave I just see axolotl gills (or just gills in general?) not sure why tho. Anyways this was mostly some practice and testing with another brush 🤔. I like to call Soundwave’s. Things… mandibles, cuz idk what they are but they definitely look like them 😌 the idea of him grabbing stuff with them even tho he’s got two servos and two data cables is comical to me, he just can’t ever be normal istg

an extremely indulgent piece of soundwave. all that i craved to do was animate shiny jewelry on a sultry body ԅ(‾⌣‾ԅ)

BUT, this does come with personal headcanons i really wanted to draw! in my headcanon-based continuity of transformers, soundwave is a foreign dancer, stolen as a gift for the cybertronian high council.

this is my first time trying to design meaning into jewelry so don't mind me making an attempt: the headpiece is meant to resemble swords and pins stabbing at him because he is just a marionette. chest piece is a heart torn in two halves, but the diamond represents their spark. the dangling jewelry around his stomach is just an arrow pointing downward There because soundwave was just seen as an object for pleasure. the piece around his waist is also meant to sexualize with the little droplets. the snake on his thigh is there because soundwave is 'the snake that tempted eve' in this case, the ever-innocent cybertronian council. as if they didn't abduct soundwave to be theirs-

No wonder why Soundwave likes him 😌 helm shape reminds him of security cameras… which obviously being the surveillance officer among many other things.. he’d be a fan I think. Also this was kinda just a line exercise + tfp Shockwave practice 🤔 he’s hard to draw so I’m trying to work on that. And I don’t do Wavewave often and idk why 🤨 maybe just a lack of ideas for them

Blinked for a second and now he’s tall, slender, and goth… Skywarp must’ve been tired being the only goth around 😒 in fact, while he was at it he made Laserbeak goth too, kinda considerate of him for making them match 😌 and a flight mode so Soundwave can actually get places instead of sitting around as a cassette player?? He was cooking

Actually yes I Do think Soundwave with an attitude is fun 😌 and he deserves it with what he has to put up with 🙄 and him using his cables as arms to express (or just as arms in general) is also great, I think he should do that more considering how long and sometimes awkward his arms are. Do I think Soundwave and Knockout woulda made good gossip girls? Yeah kinda. I assume that’s what being the eyes and ears of the decepticons and also being Knockout does to you
