i see this kind of sentiment alot. im sure youve answered before, but do you hate your fans? do you “want them to burn”?

That's pretty fucking stupid. I hear that from people and they don't see how I know all the stuff I'm writing about, that I'm a fan and that Eltingville is about a specific kind of fan, and how they fuck things up, themselves up, and miss the point of fandom. I get people who just think I hate fans and hate comics and hate everything, that's a pretty superfifical and maybe defensive reading. WHy the fuck would I write a trivia-off or put all that work into the epilogue if I wasn't a fan, first and foremost. I disregard that post and I reject what it says. And I sure as hell don't hate my fans (or want them to burn, WTF?). Holy shit, why would I be answering all these comments? Atoning for my sins? To get rich? Help me get into a heaven I don't believe in? JFC. People are weird. Maybe they missed a meds day (I know I can get weird when I do)
