while I was unoffically away I had a lot change about my kirby oc Night Terror. So this is a re-introduction post im so sorry chat

most stuff has stayed the same, but there are some big key changes to character interactions. Ill list out the basic changes for those who know Night Terror as a character, and the whole new lore for newbies.

THE MAJOR CHANGES:

-night terror is no longer related to meta knight at all. She was created through magic and sciences.

-Night terror and Kirby are a t4t lesbian couple as adults, they also met as adults

-shes not nearly as sheltered as she used to be in present day

THE NEW LORE

After his initial defeat, Nightmare was weakened horribly, but not dead. Slowly, over many years, he began to rebuild his enterprise in secret. One of his biggest goals in that time, was to make a proper, unkillable counter to Kirby.

But Kirby was an Astral (or puffball or lightmatter or dream matter whathaveyou), so this was no easy task. Many attempts were made in his hiding period, and many failed to survive a few hours after their creation. 

That was, until Night Terror.

Almost Genetically identical to the astral species, Night Terror was a cosmic abomination to the works of magic and science. And Nightmare couldn't be more proud of his success. At once, he started spinning a narrative, a fool proof twisting of the truth to keep Night Terror loyal to him till the day she was no longer needed

“It’s tragic!” He’d tell her, time and time again after ruthless training in her pup years. “A horrible group of four villains is terrorizing planet Popstar! I tried to save the planet, but the four tried to kill me! You need to grow up strong so you can defeat them!”

Night Terror took it all in without a second thought. Nightmare was all she knew, and all she trusted. Nightmare even went as far as to call himself her ‘father’, to further drive a need to never defy him.

Once she was grown and deadly, she sent out on small scout missions on Popstar, which were to help her recognize and learn about the enemy. But quickly into this, a grown up Kirby met Night Terror, and the two quickly got attached to each other.

But Unlike Kirby, others were suspicious of Night Terror. It made the scouting missions, and Night Terror’s newfound friendship, very shaky ground. But Nightmare Urged her to continue as long as she could. Obtaining the trust of the most deadly of the four was paramount now.

One day though, Meta Knight confronted Night Terror. He knew the stench of a Nightmare rat all too well. This quickly scared Night Terror back to her ‘father’, who decided to invade Popstar mere days later.

Even when Nightmare was defeated for good in this second invasion, Night Terror couldn't see the faults in his manipulation, It took severe court cases and even more severe solitary confinement before it all came crashing down on her.

But, Kirby and their friends never gave up on her. She was the aftermath of an evil man, and didn't get the chance to be a good person. So through a lot of work, time, and care, Night Terror learned how to move past her origins. She and Kirby even hit it off once Night terror was in a healthier space. All around, she's had quite a journey!
