Breaks my heart that even IS negativity around this, that’s Anthony has to experience that because people can’t get their minds around something so simple but I’m happy he got such a warm welcome to D23 today.

It’s also crazy where in the same interview where Anthony is talking about the negativity that the interviewer who praised him then asks “Who is Captain America?” like um… he’s standing right in front of you and you’re apart of the problem? Everyday I feel like TFATWS was a total fever dream with the way people act...

one thing i really want to see in cap 4 is the friendship between sam and joaquin evolve in to something more deep and meaningful. i desperately want for sam to have a fierce and loyal partner by his side, who'll stick by him no matter what.

i just really want to see sam having relationships, romantic and platonic, and i want him to be shown some love and respect, goddammit.

Man, I cant go through another TFATWS fandom experience... I cant. That shit was annoying as hell. It was some new borderline racist or just outright racist fuckery every other day on this app from #that fandom. So yeah, I'm ecstatic that they finally get separate projects. Still a sambucky though. I'm just super happy for one movie that focuses on Sam and has absolutely nothing to do with Bucky and his stans.

People are already crying “where’s Bucky?!” on Twitter and I just need everyone to remember that canon and fanon are two separate things. Like I ship them too, but Sam needs and deserves to have his own project. He deserves to be the leader and carry his own movie. And honestly us Sam fans deserve to be free of Bucky stans for at least one project.

Ijs I like SamBucky too, but that’s what here and ao3 are for.

Also, let’s be for real, this is Marvel so Bucky could very well still show up in the movie lol

LIke, I knew it was coming but having it confirmed to be focused on Sam with Isaiah and Torres as his supporting cast is everything. They better make it a dope ass movie fleshing out Sam and exploring his character properly. It's what Sam Wilson deserves.
