I know the holidays can be stressful, so this Threshold Day try to keep in mind what really matters. It's not about the gifts or the shopping, it's about breaking the warp barrier. Threshold Day is meant to be a time of transformation (into a lizard), love (for your captain/lizard wife), and spending time with your family (of lizard babies) before you abandon them on a planet forever and never think about them again.
Happy Threshold Day everyone, and don't forget to leave milk and cookies out for Tom Paris as he travels at warp 10 and exists simultaneously at every point in the universe!
I’m just a person, standing in front of the internet, asking it to only write Hallmark Christmas movie inspired Criminal Minds* fanfic until the end of January (at least)
Ask a community organiser: can you organise with Fran Drescher as president of SAG-AFTRA even though she's an antivaxxer? On broad based organising versus issue based organising.
For anyone interested in getting into Star Trek but doesn't know the right place to start: There isn't one. Every place you could potentially start is the wrong place. That is the Star Trek experience. The only way to get into Star Trek is the wrong way. There is no right way. Wherever you start, you will find yourself lost, confused, disturbed, unsettled, baffled, and perhaps a bit turned on. This is normal. Congratulations, you are one of us now. I'm so sorry.
Only ever getting halfway through this before it disappeared is one of my greatest fandom regrets
Super random, but now that Noche Sin Estrella by lambnoire no longer exists on AO3 (oh the horror when I discovered it was gone, why did I not download it when I had the chance??), do you have a download or iBooks copy of it that you would be willing to share? :)
There are copies floating around the fandom but none of us have a copy to share.
