anyways, because i don't have a lot of time before i have to go to work today ( ]: ) but i still wanted to share some content with you all... whenever it comes to who gets hangry (hungry-angry) the worst between all of my muses, i would say it have to be a tie between silva and anna (much to no one's surprise /j JSJSJ LMAOOO, i'm kidding). and whenever i say they get hangry the worst, i mean silva will literally TACKLE someone out of nowhere + act nearly feral if that's what it takes for him to get some blood after he hasn't drunk any for a while.

and anna... well. partially depending on what caused the hunger, she can get anywhere from being slightly more dysregulated regarding her emotions to VERY much more dysregulated where she's basically searching frantically for something to eat, because what do you mean there isn't even a MORSEL of mushrooms around or herbs or anything for her to eat for some reason?? and UHHH.

word to the wise, if someone were to hypothetically capture her for some reason, starving her is not a good idea because the first thing she will be doing once she finds a way to escape from wherever you put (and i say ONCE because anna will find a way), she will be coming straight for you + depending on how long it's been... i would not put her below eating someone else if desperate enough. just saying ✋️ ASDHSKWB

alright, alright, i have a question for you all 👀 and this will include a poll, so there's no obligation for you all to answer it OFC BUTTT... if you all want to participate, it would honestly mean the world to me ❤️ but in any case; for ilias, whenever it comes to his superpower, which is essentially the midas touch — [ or the ability to have everything you touch turn into gold except it's more of a curse for him, unfortunately ): ] should i make it so that he has been able to somewhat learn to control it over the years by focusing on it (so it'd be sort of remiscent of someone like rogues powers) orrr should i make it so that his power is constantly active without any sort of control to it?

because i think that, given the idea that the touch only applies to his hands, that this power would actually be somewhat manageable — for ilias could theoretically just wear gold gloves and just never take them off to be able to live normally. but at the same time, the idea that i'm trying to go for here miiight not work so well with that angle. so i was thinking that it might be more accurate to the actual king midas myth where skin-to-skin contact makes things turn to gold. thus, ilias has to wear something that covers his full body at pretty much all times, but he has learned how to somewhat control it over the years after suffering for... well, a LONG time with it.

and don't get me wrong, he still suffers from it. because not only does experiencing any kind of emotion make him unable to focus on not being able to control it a majority of the time, but he also has hyperesthesia (which is where uncomfortable or painful sensations come from normal touch). + this is potentially due to nerve damage caused by long-term exposure to the gold ilias's own BODY makes + it makes living honestly very hard, but he still tries to get by whatever way he can. in any case, though, i'm sort of leaning towards the second option here... but let me know which one y'all think is better (if you want to!!) here:

okay, BUT because i think that knowing some things about what another character might notice about my characters is important... i shall be listing out what each of my muses smell like for all of y'all's viewing pleasure LOL. and i shall be doing it in a list format for convenience in order!! (test muses such as ilias + lucifer will also be included)

xerxes zhàn: specifically wears 'burnt roses' by BTSO. smells basically like the description for it says: buried underneath things like oakmoss, cinnamon, black pepper, and incense is the scent of bulgarian roses. she essentially likes fragrances that are both spicy + smooth, which makes this perfume perfect for her.

anna zaytseva (the huntress): doesn't wear perfume, but does have a certain smell to her because she makes her own body oil out of ingredients she's found around the woods that makes her skin feel softer / moisturizes it. it smells like sage, vetiver, geranium, and lavender. so needless to say... it's VERY earthy, but she still smells good, of course.

silva reis: wears this specific eau de toilette by replica called never-ending summer. it's very fresh and trust me, it also smells good. the main notes within it are orange, as well as spritz accord, which is basically just a fancy term for citrus LOL. it also has vetiver in the baseline of it + silva likes it because its neither too masculine nor too feminine in his opinion.

ilias lambros: wears this eau de parfum by marc-antoine barrois called 'ganymede' also while it was on sale and the best way that i could describe it is that it smells like minerals. but it's a good kind of minerals. it also gives off hints of leather in the undertone of it, which suit ilias pretty well. also uses a body oil because his skin is prone to being dry, which smells like white lupin (a flower).

the ten-eyed man: wears this eau de parfum called 'full incense' that he got on sale because who can resist a good sale, am i right? basically, just imagine that you walked into a cloud of incense but one that smells REALLY nice and you've got the vibes for this one. its kind of smoky, as well as woody and dry, but still *chefs kiss*.

lucifer procidela: wears this eau de perfum called '6 feet under,' and although the fact that it is called that is definitely a plus, be didn't choose it mainly for that. it's got something that makes it very unique — they have somehow put notes of wet gravestone in it, along with more normal scents like germanium and oakmoss. basically smells woody as well as fresh.

hello, hello, you all!! i just wanted to say good afternoon to all of my precious mutuals today ❤️ i'm going to be anna-posting once again to start off the day, so here.. we... go. your daily lore-dump about the huntress is that, while she is basically feral now from having spent so many years in the forest alone with minimal contact with other humans, making friends with anna isn't impossible; because just like anyone else... even though she does lack some knowledge of social skills as she never quite learned about them to their full capacity, and she's learned to fear / be cautious of people who come into her home for her own survival + anna does have some difficulties with regulating her emotions and/or expressing her needs which would probably make forging friendships hard?

anna secretly longs for human contact, to be honest. when you quite literally only have yourself to depend on for decades, i think that the loneliness that it caused is likely to have contributed to anna's mental instability. she hasn't really had any positive physical touch experiences since taras died, after all. because companionship even between other women with her who had somehow found their way into her forest hasn't really bridged the necessary prerequisites to reach the point where she's entirely comfortable with physical touch with them. so, in other words, they hadn't fully gained her trust. and this could be due to a myriad of reasons such as they just simply didn't have enough time to do so, or anna regressed multiple times during their relationship to being fearful + avoidant of them even though they tried really hard to make friends with her.

and i can't blame the huntress herself for regressing several times during their relationship into exhibiting this feral, untrusting behavior because like people often like to say, recovery in any way is not a straight line. + it's been shown that getting someone who's been on their own for such a long time miiight not ever be able to fully adjust back to the 'social norms' of society at all no matter how much patience you try to give them or what-not. and this is because, in anna's case, her mind was so fundamentally changed by the years of mainly focusing on her own survival that i could definitely see it being possible that she wouldn't thrive very well in UHHH. well, quote unquote 'normal civilization' to the point where she might just want to escape back to the woods because that's what she's familiar with.

but anyways, like i was saying, it may be difficult BUT it's not impossible. gradually approaching her and exercising a LOT of patience as well as providing her with necessities are both arguably good ways to become friends with her. but the best way overall to become friends with anna is to prioritize her own safety and respect her boundaries; so you interact on her terms, in other words, not the other way around. letting anna choose when and how she wants to interact with another muse is honestly paramount to befriending her BC if you try to force things, chances are, she will not like it (,: but yeah. in any case, who's now prepared to make their muse be friends with a feral woman in the woods /hj JSJSJ

anyways, my first official lore post about anna / the huntress will be related to the complicated relationship she has with men. because trust me when i say... not only did her father's death make her not only harbor a sense of inner resentment for soldiers in general, but for men in general, if i'm being honest. however, with all of that said and done, this is not me saying that i personally as the mun think all men are horrible or anything like that OFC. i just wanted to say that, with the kind of experiences anna has had with them, it somewhat makes sense that she is much more distrustful of them compared to children or women who cross through her forest — and this isn't because the huntress is a bad person (though she isn't really a GOOD person, but i shall touch upon that later in another meta ahahhh).

because think about it from her perspective. her father died whenever she was two, and thus, she has very few memories of him; but the ones she does have of him are good though they've all kind of been overshadowed by the memory of just how confused + sad she felt whenever her mother had told her the best way she could as a two year old that 'daddy isn't coming back.' and later on, anna learned from her mother that this was because male soldiers had killed him. she has also had many bad encounters with people in general, including men / masc and women / femme people. but with this present memory of hers still being clear in her mind of her father being killed by specifically men?

anna has focused mostly on them in terms of a place to direct her anger towards regarding her anger, even if some of it might be misplaced BC not all men are terrible, of course. but that doesn't change the fact that she's grown more and more hateful towards them as time has gone on + they've tried to hurt her in various ways. this did kind of change whenever she met taras, the one and only lover she's had up until this point, because he himself was a man. and he treated her very well / kindly,, but the huntress was reminded of just how brutal man can be in general whenever he had gone out one day to retrieve some specific herbs for anna + she found him having been killed by raiders who wanted to take pretty much everything she had.

these raiders, with the exception of one person, were all male as well and so as you miiight be able to tell; there have not been many examples of her being exposed to male character's who have been good people. and the ones that she knew who were good, well 😅 they were taken from the huntress by other men. so, while i (of course) myself do not condone fostering a very unhealthy resentment for anyone, including men? anna's got a bone to pick with them at the moment because they are responsible for creating some of her WORST memories NGL and it's kind of understandable. trauma can definitely make one direct anger towards a general population of people, unfortunately, whenever you've had multiple experiences with the same thing.
